This beautifully updated one bedroom features a full kitchen, open living space and small dining area that can double as a work space! The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and dresser for your belongings with a large attached bathroom! Less than 5 minutes from Samford and Brookwood Hospital and 10 minutes to UAB and downtown in a lovely, quiet neighborhood just minutes from 65 in Homewood. The Lakeshore Trail is just across the main road and is wonderful for walking jogging or biking.

The apartment is a totally separate one bedroom apartment with a private entrance. You can park by the front door and walk straight in to the apartment from the parking area in the back. There is a small sitting area outside by the front door and a shared courtyard in the front of the home that guests are welcome to use. There is also an adjoining two bedroom apartment that can also be rented together with the one bedroom if you are traveling with a large group!

We live just a few minutes away and are happy to be available for any questions that you have. We also love giving suggestions of things to do in this wonderful city!

The neighborhood is safe, quaint and quiet. It’s a residential area with cute homes and great neighbors. The home is just 2 minutes from the interstate but you would never know the highway is so close. The apartment is so conveniently located without the chaos of a busy street! Just 5 minutes from Samford University and Brookwood Hospital, across the main street from the beautiful Lakeshore trail, 10 minutes to UAB hospital and downtown! Brookwood Mall and some world class restaurants are also within 5 minutes of the apartment!

Public transportation is not widely available in Birmingham but Uber and Lyft are easy to use. The building is a small 4 unit building with a small parking area in the back of the building where you have one assigned space to park. There is also street parking in front of the home if you have more than one car.

There isn’t a washer and dryer in this unit but there is a laundromat just a few minutes away, and if there happen to not be any guests staying in the two bedroom, you’re welcome to use the washer and dryer in that unit! The apartment is one of 4 units in a small building that resembles a house. There are two upper units and two lower units. This is a lower level unit but is completely above ground with windows throughout the apartment.
There will be a $500 cleaning fee for smoking of any kind in the home.

Please be respectful of the other tenants in the building. Loud noise, parties or disturbing the other tenants won’t be tolerated.

Our cleaners inventory before and after each guest. Several items have recently gone missing. Guests will be charged for any missing items, including towels, blankets, silverware, etc.
