Spacious Cabin Tahoe Park Access
You’ll love this spacious 5 bedroom, 2½ bathroom “pet friendly” vacation rental located within the Talmont area of West Lake Tahoe. A great home for large groups with a combined kitchen, dining area, living room and covered deck looking out into the forest. Amenities include washer/dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, BBQ, high speed internet and a river rock fireplace in the living room. These accommodations are within walking distance to Paige Meadows for hiking trails, mountain biking and cross country skiing.
IMPORTANT NOTE - This is a newer listing for us (as of early 2025), but it’s worth mentioning that this home has been an active vacation rental property for many years and has over 100 Five Star Reviews. When we took over management of the property, the listing had to be rebuilt under our Property Management account. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to transfer legacy reviews over to the new listing. This home is exactly as advertised, very well maintained, and set up great to accommodate groups up to 10 guests. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any questions.
Access to the ever popular Lake Tahoe Park Association Beach is included along with one reserved parking space at our office (1/2 block from the beach). The Lake Tahoe Park Association Beach is just a short 5 minute drive away, with access to this beach association affording you the next best alternative to staying on the lake!
This classic Tahoe Cabin is the ideal spot to relax and is centrally located within close proximity to many of the west shores most popular spots! The cabin is centrally located in the Talmont area up above Lake Tahoe and within a short 5 minute drive to some of the best and most iconic west shore destinations: Sunnyside Resort, Firesign Cafe, West Shore Market and Shadyside Lounge.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love the simple access to Paige Meadows / hiking trails just a few blocks from the cabin. Or you can catch the bike trail down below and enjoy miles of paved trails along the West Shore or into Tahoe City, down the Truckee River, or all the way out to Palisades. So fun!

Pet Policy: We allow up to 1 small dog (less than 50 lbs). The dog must be disclosed within the reservation guest count and a non-refundable pet fee must be paid.
No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.
No smoking of vaping.
No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.
There is parking for 1 vehicle in the garage and 2 - 3 vehicles on the driveway pad directly in front of the cabin. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).
No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).
Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.
Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home.
The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).
There are a few steps that lead from the driveway down to the front deck / entry door area. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe snow piled up on the stairs and possible berms in front of the garage (as a result of plow operations). There are shovels onsite that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions.
WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.
