No cell service no problem, plenty of stuff to do for everyone. Everyone had a blast and all homes were great! Only place i can say that i will come back! Thanks Debbie for all your help and a great stay. As advertised no surprises.
We had 10 families in our group with kids ranging from 1 to 18 years old. There was something to do for everyone. Debbie was the perfect host and checked in on us throughout our 3 night stay. The only complaint heard from our group was the lack of access to the river so close to the Ranch. There was also no area close to the dam to swim at the lake without having a boat, incase that is something you are looking for.
The ranch is a wonderful gathering place for a family reunion. Each family had their own living space and then there was a large dining hall for communal eating and meeting. The kitchen was commercial size and well equipped. The rec room and pool were the favorite hang out. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I booked the ranch for our annual family reunion and it did not disappoint. Views were amazing, houses were big and provided everything needed for your stay. I had to message the owner regarding a couple issues we had and because she lives on property she was quick to address our concerns. Everyone really enjoyed our stay and the pool and game room were a big hit with all ages.
Just amazing! From the property owner (Debbie -thank you) who made everything perfect for our group of 30, to the amazing location by Lake Shasta and beautiful Coram Ranch with 5 cabins, a recreation room, pool (beautiful and large), indoor and outdoor game areas, an awesome commercial size kitchen with everything we needed and dining hall - it was such a great time! Best location weâve found for our family reunions! Thanks again Debbie! Hope to see you again!
We had an amazing time at the Ranch! Biking, hiking, swimming (lake and pool), basketball, horseshoes, game room...the list is endless!! Debbie is a fantastic host and frequently checks on our needs. Hope to return in a few years...
Coram Ranch is an excellent property. Loved the fact that it is quite spread out with 5 different houses that could accommodate large groups. Lot of trails within the property to explore. Close to some of the bigger attractions around Redding CA.
Debbie has been a great host and provided almost everything we needed including accepting deliveries ahead of time on our behalf and setting them up in pantry/refrigerator.
Made our work easy for a large group like ours.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was much more beautiful than I had grasped ahead of time. The river and the bike trail are really nice. We used all the buildings and Dogwood was the nicest. The buildings were further apart than we realized, so if you're only booking one, you'll have privacy. The only negative is that some of the buildings could use some updates. Most are rustic, so if that's okay with you, you'll enjoy your stay. You do need to be aware that most cell carriers don't work here and wifi locations are limited. (Tmobile and the off brand that uses their towers had consistent reception). You will find this a peaceful location to get away to and the host is very responsive and helpful. It's a short drive to Redding and you can enjoy coffee shops, thrifting, and tasty restaurants as well as all the great outdoor adventures in this area.
We loved our stay at Coram Ranch! There was a lot of space for activities and we loved also having the privacy of the separate homes. The only downside was the presence of ants. It wouldnât keep us from coming back, but you had to be extra extra diligent about cleanliness and food storage.
We did not expect snow, but it was fun to have snow in CA. Kids enjoyed bike trails and game rom. River view house deck was hot sport. We would love to explore summer here.
Huge property with lots to do. We swam, and played pool and bocce ball. So plan at least a day of just enjoying what's there.
Big fridge and freezer made it easy to deal with food for a lot of people. Lots to do nearby as well.
My family has lived and worked this ranch since 1977. My husband and I turned the ranch into a guest ranch in 1998. We enjoy being able to furnish a unique atmosphere for families and businesses to have their own private awesome place.
Our property has everything, Five homes, game room, extra large swimming pool, fishing on the Sacramento River or Shasta Lake. Basketball, Boccie ball , horseshoes, mountain bikes to ride the Sacramento River Rail trail. Large lawns, extra large dining area for families to gather. Fire pit for bonfires, Lit up facilities for games at night. We would love to share a piece of heaven with you.
