I stayed here for the month of Oct. This is a nice house. In general a good place to stay for a short while. I did ultimately have a good experience, and Melody at Killington Accommodations was very friendly and helpful, I could call if I needed anything. I will focus on a few things I liked about the house but mostly the negatives. It has nice big windows to see the beautiful yard with nice tall trees and surrounding areas. There is some hiking/biking trails nearby which is nice, I did take advantage of those. This is kind of an old house so the windows are a very drafty. The house does have a fireplace which is a nice feature; it's also very necessary. In general this is a cold house. There is no heat circulation throughout the house so the guest rooms remain cold even with the heat turned up (I had a guest for a few nights that couldn't sleep). The heat source is in the basement next to the master bedroom so those places stay fairly warm. . The place was clean and tidy when I arrived. Upon arriving, I noticed a lot of products in the home available for use were half consumed. This includes consumable products in the kitchen and fridge. i.e. salad dressing, salsa, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce etc. also in the bathrooms shampoos, tube of tooth paste etc. . I would feel more appreciated if the products were new/unused. In addition, there were a lot of pictures of people that I didn't know. This is a negative, I felt this personalized, and cluttered the home. There is also some unnecessary religious iconography displayed. The home should remain neutral. It's difficult to figure out the theme of the home. The furniture is absolutely not comfortable at all, you might as well be sitting on wooden benches. These were the negatives not including feeling nickeled and dimed to death with taxes and hidden fees. Just glad I wasn't here in the wintertime
