If you love the beach, views of the water and a beautiful home with every amenity, then we hope you will spend your vacation at our Chatham oasis. The views are spectacular from almost every room and the home has a large multi-level deck, is walking distance to three beaches (5 minute, 12 minute and 20 minute walk), has a cook's kitchen, air conditioning, and new furnishings including all new bedding and linens. We owned a home in Nantucket for many years and rented it out, so we are experienced at setting up a house for vacationers to enjoy.



The home - called Hakuna Matata which means 'No worries!' - has three bedrooms and a bonus room with two twins, three full baths and a half bath. The home is built into a hill overlooking the Red River Marsh looking down to Nantucket Sound. You walk into the main level and are immediately struck by the light and views through the multiple French doors and large windows throughout. The living room leads into the dining area and into the kitchen and family room, which has TV, Sonos surround sound, and a gas fireplace. There is a half bath off the kitchen area and a mud room.



At the other end of the main area are two bedrooms and two bathrooms including a master suite with French doors out to the expansive deck. The second bedroom has a full bath which also includes the laundry area. There is an office on this level in case you need to work from home.



Because it is built into a hill, the second floor is down one flight, and once you get there, a big family room awaits with French doors, two leather sofas, TV and table and chairs for games, puzzles or work. The second master and twin room have an additional full bath. (one queen room , one room with two twins). There is a wine cellar for your use. This level has mini split AC units so each room can control their desired temperature settings. (the upstairs main level has central air)
But you might choose to spend most of your time on the deck when you're not at the beach or enjoying all that Chatham and Harwich Port have to offer. Dine al fresco or just relax with a book as you watch the tides and just exhale.



You are looking out the back of the house over Red River Beach as well as Chatham Conservation Land. (you walk to the beaches out the front of the house, not through the conservation area. There are no walking paths directly through that land).



Pleasant Street Beach (5 minute walk), Forest Beach (12 minute walk) and Red River Beach (20 minute walk and lifeguarded with facilities) are close by. Each beach has parking. Downtown Chatham is one of the most beautiful towns on Cape Cod with great restaurants and shopping and is a 10 minute drive. Harwich Port, one of the Cape's most scenic harbors, is just two miles away with more restaurants and shops.
