We thoroughly enjoyed hosting Dana and her 3‑generation family of 13. They were respectful, great communicators, and left the home in excellent condition. We take guest feedback seriously, but this review leaves out important context. Following this stay, we documented $10,167.25 in property damage and related repair and replacement costs. Generali paid $3,000 toward the claim, leaving us with substantial out-of-pocket expenses. When we pursued the damage claim, the guest wrote: “Lastly, we will reserve our review of your property until we see how you are going to resolve your ridiculous claim.” The guest subsequently posted this 2/10 review. Her own words explicitly linked her forthcoming review to how we handled the damage claim. We believe that context is essential for anyone evaluating this rating.
