What a fantastic property to stay at! We highly recommend staying at this place. It works perfect for young families and has all the amenities and games to keep the kids busy while the adults can also sit back and relax. The property was one of the cleanest homes we’ve stayed at during our family road trips. We definitely would recommend and was close to Mammoth Cave.

Amazing place! It was so easy to check in, the place was immaculately clean, and the host was incredibly welcoming for party. The kitchen had all the cookware you’d need and it was all so organized. The game loft upstairs was a huge hit for our 8 year old. The backyard was incredible. Staying there at this time of year was soooooo pretty with the fall leaves and perfect weather. The location was great for our trip purpose! We visited the Lost River Cave (about 50 min drive) and the Kentucky Adventure Zoo (about 30 min drive). We would definitely stay again!

Modern Home Away From Home

My family and I had a wonderful stay! This home has everything you need to feel comfortable and enjoy your stay in peace. The interior of the house is beautiful, and the exterior is just as lovely! We felt safe and were in a great location. The host left us thoughtful items to help us celebrate the Fourth of July. We hope to stay here again on our next visit to Cub Run. I highly recommend it—10/10!

Nice getaway

Nice getaway not too far from Mammoth Cave with relaxing hot tub. The kids enjoyed ping pong and darts as well. It was very clean & the hosts left us ingredients for smores, which was very sweet.

Wonderful Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend getaway staying at Cub Run cabin. The cabin was very clean with nice furnishings and had a ton of amenities to offer, including a stocked coffee/tea bar & all the ingredients needed to make s’mores in the fire pit! The property owners were prompt with responses to all our questions prior to arrival & checking in with us upon arrival to make sure everything was as expected! We had two families stay during our trip with 4 kids and had plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk room and all the games in the loft area upstairs to keep them entertained. The outside yard was big and spacious to run & play. The large deck was perfect for sitting outside for morning coffee & evening cocktails! Our family also explored the local area and went to Kentucky Down Under Zoo, Mammoth Cave National Park, & Maker’s Mark Distillery. Highly recommend all places & staying at this cabin!

Outstanding property!

Our stay was part of a surprise for my husband’s birthday. He (and the rest of our family) absolutely loved the house! It was welcoming, immaculately clean, and had every need and detail taken care of. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. Our two boys really enjoyed the bunk beds with the fun lights, and our three girls loved their room as well. There were fun snacks and a sweet thank you note waiting for us when we arrived. Check in was a breeze and we had no issues whatsoever. The game room had so many fun options. The hot tub was so clean and like new- a special treat for us! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely home and location with our family. We would definitely like to return, and we all highly recommend it!

The house and amenities were great. Check in was smooth. Instructions were great, checkout instructions were clear. The house is decorated well and comfortable. I am marking this as 4 stars for the following reasons.The beds were too soft for our preferences. We had one person sleep on the couch to get a firmer, more comfortable night's rest.We did not have enough plates and bowls for the whole group. Most of us drank out of water bottles we brought, so I don't know how many glasses/cups were available.The gas grill had 3 out of 5 burners working, and wouldn't get above 300 degrees. There was also a gas smell when I opened the lid to check it out. I think someone forgot to turn off the gas when they changed the propane cylinder. It was difficult to determine what position the knobs were in - some of them just spun around on the shafts, and I removed them and just turned the shafts to the right positions. I think some were in the "On" position when we got there.There are not enough places to relax or congregate as a large group. We were a group of 9, and the table only sat 6 for meals. The living room area didn't have space for 9, so people were sitting on the floor when we wanted to relax and talk.Overall, I think this place would be great for a group of 6 or less, but not for more than that unless there are some updates made.
