The Gingerbread House would like you to say hello to its little friend. Welcome to the Gingersnap. It's a one bedroom apartment with zero stairs your own entrance and a 60 second walk to the Mills wedding venues. Upon entering the room you will find yourself in a retro modern oasis. With a king sized bed, inground heat in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Also you will have a retro kitchenette which is somewhat groovy. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and all the amenities you need.
Probably the most important things you will see happens when you step outside. You will be seeing the Elora Mill and all its venues, with a one minute walk you could be in their wedding chapel. After the wedding you step outside and take the new walking bridge crossing the Grand River to the venues holding all the celebrations for the evening. If you are not here for a wedding, no problem. Crossing that bridge sets you on Mill St. and all that Elora has to offer.
Cute and quaint amazing linens and king size bed was to die for proximity to everything amazing ice cream shop attached 10 out of 10 The place was not clean floors. not dusted, fridge and toilet dirty
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Gingerbread suite. It was lovely and well appointed in a perfect location to explore the pretty village of Elora!
This cute little place was in the perfect location. There was a walking bridge across the street that led to the shops and the mill. The room was attached to an ice cream parlor(busy place!) The room had everything you need, but unfortunately someone forgot to wash the floors. It was a nice stay
Lovely studio style room with rustic exterior and retro interior. Pictures in the posting portray the room accurately. Located close to the shops and restaurants of the old village area of Elora. Convenient parking. Very clean. Well-equipped "kitchenette". Modern shower with good water pressure (always a good thing). Would definitely stay again.
Size of the unit is sufficient. Cooking facilities are a bit less than optimal. Fire alarm will go off if you do and pan frying. Location is excellent. We found too many pat hairs stuck bo our socks. It is likely leftovers from previous tenants. Personally, I feel it is good, but there are room for improvement.
This is an excellent property to stay in. The property owner, John, is extremely accessible for communications including clarity regarding checkin and parking instructions. We appeciated John's kindness and uncertainty with respect to potential additional day to stay.We recommend this property and likely will book again in future pending availabilityappreciation of our
