This is a great place with a great price and location. If you want perfect, stay in a hotel. This is more like crashing at friends place. Itâs been lived in and well loved, making it feel so cozy and welcoming. The pillow case and carpet may have some stains, but itâs clean, and smells fresh. The heat perfect. Thereâs noise, I had earplugs so I slept soundly. Shower is fine, hot water with okay pressure, hair dryer too. 5 minute walk from grand central, 20 from Penn station. We did a ton of things in 3 days. Went to Staton Island 2x via fee ferry- go to The Basement for food close to it. Walked 15 min to the Empire State Building. You can take a picture with Godzilla. My 74yr old mother traveled with me and had a great time. She slept great in the bedroom. I took the futon. Iâm 5â8, and that thing looks bigger in the picture. Had to sleep diagonally to stretch out. I sleep on my side in fetal position normally so it was not uncomfortable for me. In no way would I ever claim that place can sleep 4 unless you bring your own inflatable mattress. Which I would suggest over the tiny futon. Also, while the hosts do check on you and make you feel very welcome, I had to text both of them separately. Both of them will check on you. So, nice! Check out was at 10, and my phone was blowing up at 0940 because I hadnât put the keys in the lock box yet and the cleaner was there early. If you know what to expect, this place is great, safe, and in a fantastic location.
