Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that I would have liked better Is if there were TV’s in the bedrooms. I would definitely stay again.

Did not use the pool or hot tub. They looked okay, just older. The kitchen was way off. 2 cooking pots is not a gourmet kitchen. We have used VRBO for several trips. This one was very disappointing. The couple with us were very disappointed. This was the first time for a VRBO. They probably never use one again. To me the owner really doesn’t care about the property , she,s trying to make some easy money A good VRBO is a lot of work. Dryer did not work, Inside the house need all new paint. Interior wall damage in most rooms. Outdoors was filthy A lady came to the backyard with no notification or introduction to hose down the back yard. The beds and pillows were completely worn out. There was no spoons or toilet paper. The couch by the queen room had a broken leg The light fixtures did not have light bulbs. The AC in the garage had either black mold or dirt. Getting into the house was not easy because we were given the wrong code. Had to wait for someone to get us the correct code. The furnishings were a hodge podge with stains, and damage. The blinds were missing blind slacks. No check out information. Linens were thread bare. I guess you understand we were very disappointed

Very comfortable

Location was great for multiple beaches to visit. Then after a long day at the beach we could unwind in the hot tub. We felt right at home in this house

WPB get away

Lovely spot and very nice owner. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool and hot tub! Close to grocery stores and many restaurants. Definitely recommend this place.

Winter get away

An awesome week! Weather gorgeous, backyard pool oasis just what we needed. Very private! Spacious home with everything we needed. Great memories for our February Getaway!

Family Christmas

Stayed here with our 2 adult children. Property was very clean and welcoming. Pool and hot tub were also clean and ready for enjoyment. Host was very prompt in responding, though we had no issues. Good times were had by all.

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed the house and amenities! House was clean and easy to find. Janice was great and checked in with us to ensure everything was okay. The pool and hot tub are a perfect addition to our vacation. The only suggestion we would have is maybe tv’s in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay at the Chardonnay

Was a wonderful experience. Property was very clean and well appointed. We are a family of 5 and the layout was perfect for our needs. Very quiet neighborhood and location was as expected. The host was very easy to communicate with and answered and questions that we had during our stay, in a timely manner. Overall, excellent value and would stay again! Thanks so much !!

Family weekend

This property was everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The only feedback I have is more lighting around the pool, specifically around the bar area… there are string lights but they are not bright and not all of them work. Other than that it was perfect!

Beautiful property

I was new to VRBO, Janice and VRBO were very helpful with this process. Janice was great at communicating…calling me back when I had questions. The house was completely updated and very clean. The pool area was beautiful, private, and clean as well! Thank you Janice and VRBO for making our experience a great one!! 100% would recommend this property.

Cute place for a quick weekend stay

Cute home for a weekend stay. No issues upon arrival or during stay. Only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was the master bathroom, the shower in particular. The faucet coming from the ceiling was so strong it blasted thru the glass door all over the floor no matter how it was adjusted. Second time I tried the removable wall faucet/hose so I didn't get the bathroom floor soaked again. Not ideal set up.

Sorry, you had difficulty with the adjustment of the shower . Our goal at the Chardonnay is always great guest experience and we are only a phone call away to handle issues. Not sure what happened but our maintenance was able to adjust the water flow without any issues. Thank you so much for mentioning and would love to have you as our guest again soon.

Great stay

Our host Janice was great and worked quickly to resolve any issues with us. The house was sparkling clean and the check in was smooth, the clean team let us have access to put food in the fridge prior to official check in which was really helpful. The kitchen was a little lacking in kitchen equipment and we bought and left a few items for example chopping board, vegetable peeler, baking trays, additional cutlery and glasses. We like to eat in as much as out. We were two couples and the house is ideally suited to four, as there are only four dining chairs. Neither of the smaller doubles had two bedside tables or lamps so we had to move things around a little to suit us, but again none of these are major problems. The pool area is great as is the hot tub, and the neighbourhood is lovely. Janice is a great host.

Details matter

All of the big ticket items we wanted (pool/hot tub/grill) were as advertised and working as expected, with a special shout-out to the brand new grill which was very nice (it needs a regulator to gauge gas-which ran out mid meal). The backyard was really relaxing and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was clean, the yard tidy, and both TV sets were nice-if somewhat confusing to use. There were a couple of hiccups that impacted our stay negatively that should not have been an issue. First, the kitchen utensils/cookware/dinnerware were in poor shape or under capacity for a house that sleeps six. Knifes were not remotely sharp and showing real wear. Second, pots and pans were in bad condition with the non-stick in poor shape. In this age of next day Amazon this should not be an issue. Third, while the pool area was great, there were not enough lounge chairs for more than 2 people-the rest of the seating was great-but to lay about a couple more lounges would be nice. Additionally the furniture inside was a "bit cozy" for 4 adults-another chair would be helpful. Lastly, we had trouble with the pool sweeper not working AND not being able to remove from the pool while we wanted to swim. Navigating around a sweeper is annoying-even when the pool cleaner stopped by midweek, that issue remained. Nice place, good communication, just too many small details are neglected to garner a 5 star.

Pictures are Deceptive

The master bathroom was unusable due to shower leaking all over the floor and the sink was cracked and someone cut themselves on it. the outside pool deck had broken water balloons stuck to it along with spilled drinks and candle wax spilled on table. Pool tiles are falling off, the skimmer is ripped and unusable and the vacuum cannot be taken out of the pool. The kitchen pans were not usable, the house is set up for 6-8 but only 4 chairs at kitchen table and not extra fold ups. The grill has rusted grates and unusable also.

This review does not give a reflection of our property . There are 6 chairs at the dinning table . . Master bathroom is in excellent shape no leaks. Grill may be a bit rusted but is always washed between guest and so is the pool deck. At the Chardonnay we strive to give all our guest an amazing experience .Thank you for staying with us.

Very comfortable

The house was just what we expected. Enjoyed the pool area. To many pros to list. Only negative was the guest bath tub went down slow. Would definitely come again The host was superb.
