This is the second time staying at the property and my family and I have enjoyed each time. The enclosed deck facing the reservoir portion of the lake is great from a viewing standpoint and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing. The only real complaint I have is that two of the bedrooms face the road and the noise that the cars make as they pass by into the night and early morning is disruptive from a sleep standpoint and realistically the only way to mitigate that would be to replace the windows in those two bedrooms with noise reducing windows because the current windows even when closed did not drown out the road noise.

Fun rental! Excellent views. We have never seen so much wildlife so effortlessly. The house has ample space. The game room was a super cool place to hang out in. We loved having a nice meal on the deck overlooking the lake. We loved how the cabin felt like we were visiting a family member's home. Highly recommend investing in really nice binoculars in order to see all of the wildlife up close. I also loved how the house was prepped for our arrival. It was really neat having the eagles on the TV and all the beds seemed fresh and clean. I really liked the company renting this out as well. They literally answer your text within a few minutes. We asked silly things like what restaurants they liked. Would highly recommend! We will definitely stay another time

Wildlife watching with the eagles already playing on the TV when you arrived sounds like the cabin welcomed you properly! We love that it felt like visiting family, with deck dinners over the lake included, and your binoculars tip is a great one. Our team enjoyed the restaurant chats too. Overall great location. Loved the views of the lake from the various decks. Minor complaints would be to remove all spider webs in the house when house keeping is done. Some pans and baking trays definitely need replacing and the bed upstairs to the immediate right my brother could not sleep in because the mattress felt like it had soft spots of holes so he slept better on the firm couch in the living room. Overall we had a great relaxing time

The property was disappointing overall. There were ants throughout the kitchen, spider webs in multiple areas inside the house, and the furniture had a musty, unpleasant smell and felt grimy. The hot tub had sand inside and the breaker would continuously pop, so you would have to get out and reset it to get the keys to work. The listing also described the property as “lakefront,” which was misleading. While it is located on a branch of the lake, that area is a protected nature preserve where guests are not allowed to disturb the shoreline or access the water in the way you might expect from a true lakefront property. Although the view was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife, the condition of the house and the misleading description made our stay less enjoyable than anticipated.
