Great Stay

Great central location in North Charleston. Easy drive to Isle of Palms, Mt. Pleasant and downtown Charleston. Very private with a beautiful patio area. Would definitely stay again.

Cute and quiet

The property was great! The little patio out back is so nice. Access to the highway is so close. It was close to the airport and lots of great restaurants. We would totally stay here again.

Great choice for our stay in Charleston

This was the perfect location for our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was located within 20 minutes from everything we had planned. We would definately stay again and recommend to others who are visiting the Charleston area. John was a great host!

Convenient and comfortable North Charleston stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at John’s place in North Charleston. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was walking distance from many great restaurants and the Riverfront where we saw some live music. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks John.

Perfect Stay!

Stayed for a weekend - house was extremely clean with a beautiful yard and private/quiet location. The owner was extremely helpful, polite and responsive. The pics do not do the home justice as it is so much bigger than it appears online with modern appliances, a great kitchen and comfortable beds. Was easily accessible to all of Charleston. Will definitely stay again!

We would stay here again

Cozy and pleasant. Everything was in close driving proximity. Very thoughtful amenities. Bed was so comfortable - slept like a baby. Sheets and towels were top quality. Loved the outside patio area. John was very kind and considerate.

Very accommodating

John’s place was very well appointed with bath towels, kitchen towels, extra blankets and pillows. He supplied coffee, creamer and even some baked goods for us. We travelled here for a wedding in Mt Pleasant and the cottage is in a great location.

Nicely done...

This apartment was quiet, comfortable, and very convenient for our visit to Charleston. The host was very attentive, and the back yard space was just lovely. From here, we made trips to downtown, to the coliseum, a plantation, and Isle of Palm beach. Many thanks to John for making this available for guests.

Comfortable house and welcoming host!

John was very easy to work with and accomodating. The space was clean and had everything you needed. John even provided baked goods for breakfast! The house is very cozy and we loved the private outdoor space too. The neighborhood felt very safe and John's house is the most beautiful on the street. Se would absolutely stay there again.

Nice Spot

The best feature of this property is the lovely courtyard. We ate all of our meals outside, also getting takeout BBQ and other local specialties. The apt is simple and has all that you need and John the owner is very accessible and on hand for any assistance or happy to leave you in peace and quiet if that's what you need.

Felt comfortable, like home

We had a great stay here in North Charleston in a very quiet neighborhood over the 4th of July holiday. We enjoyed beaches, shopping, exploring, and both restaurants and eating in. While the drive to the beaches was longer than the listing showed, it was still very doable. We absolutely loved the Isle of Palms! Our beds were very comfy, and the whole place looked even better than the pictures showed (it showed very dark). Very nice visit, would love to return here!

Semi Retired and working as a Realtor in Charleston with 20 years experience. Born and Raised I know Charleston like the back of my hand. I have been renovating homes since the early 80's where I started out purchasing Historic Properties in Downtown Charleston. Army Vet. widowed. I reside in the main house however totally laid back, reserved and quiet, renters say "you never home", cause I give you privacy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

What a great find for the money, much less than staying in a small room in a hotel/motel. Just bring your clothes and personal items, everything else is furnished. Apt is cozy, comfortable and you will feel like you're at home.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

So close to Historic Charleston and the Beaches...5 min from Airport and Mt Pleasant, 10 min to Weapons Sta..15 min to Mt Pleasant and close to the Plantations. Past renters all have commented about how close it is to interstates and within minutes to everything. 20 min to Beach.
