Sunrise Vista - Glamping Sunsets Over Mt. Palomar
Sunrise Vista at Splitrock Farm & Retreat
Perched at the eastern edge of Splitrock Valley, Sunrise Vista lives up to its name, offering breathtaking sunrise views over Mt. Palomar and the rolling farmland of Fallbrook. This peaceful, off-grid glamping tent is perfect for those looking to unplug and unwind in nature.
Located on a 101-acre retreat with views stretching to the Pacific horizon and Big Bear, guests have access to miles of hiking and biking trails, including the on-site Splitrock 5K. Just 3 miles away, the Santa Margarita River Trail Preserve â voted the #1 trail in San Diego County â offers serene hiking along one of the last free-flowing rivers in Southern California, home to golden beavers, steelhead trout, and lush riparian habitats.
Inside Sunrise Vista, youâll find:
Queen-Sized Bed â Outfitted with soft linens and plush pillows for a restful night
Loveseat with Pillow, Blanket & Footrest â A cozy spot to relax and take in the views
Full-Length Mirror â A functional and stylish detail
Rustic Coffee Station â With convenient storage and a French press (just bring your own coffee grounds)
Two Bedside Tables â Each with drawer storage for personal items
Clothes Rack with Hangers â For organized travel
Shelf with Towels â Fresh towels are provided
This glamping unit is off-grid and does not have standard electrical outlets. A solar-powered system provides ambient light; we recommend bringing portable chargers for any electronics. Guests may also charge their electronics in the communal area.
Outside your tent:
Bistro Table & Chairs â Perfect for morning coffee or evening conversation
Private Firepit Area â Includes two additional chairs and a side table for fireside enjoyment
During your stay, head over to the Oak Grove Communal Area to enjoy games, shared fire pits, and an outdoor kitchen setup. The Camp Shop, located inside the Oak Grove shipping container, is open on weekends and offers essentials like firewood, snacks, and bug spray.
With nearby access to the Santa Margarita River Trail, Santa Rosa Plateau, and the wineries of Temecula Valley, Sunrise Vista is the perfect base for a nature-forward escape.

Qui vous reçoit ?
Vous ĂȘtes reçu par Branch Out Glamping

Ben started life in small town Texas, spending most free time building forts in the desert before his family moved to Costa Mesa, CA in 1987. Ben instantly fell in love with the ocean and all the best natural features of Southern California, always at the beach, building BMX jumps in the bluffs, or camping (esp. Joshua Tree). Ben's connection with nature and outdoor recreation was rooted early.
Despite remarkable career shifts from athletics (playing and coaching) to business (MBA and consulting) to academia (PhD and professor), Benâs connection with nature drove him to create his own recreation and wellness retreat. Vetted through traveling to 72 countries and residing on 3 continents, overlanding 2,000+ mile treks across 5 continents, Ben experienced, lived, played, fed, and meditated with amazing people in the most amazing landscapes on earth. A global search ended with finding the perfect outdoor recreation and wellness paradise a mere 20 miles as the bird flies from his childhood home.
Benâs experiences and connections taught him to value lifelong learning, exploration, fitness of the mind, body, and spirit, outdoor recreation, and triple bottom line (people-planet-profit) sustainability. These values bleed into Splitrock Farm and Retreat through Benâs vision and hard work, where youâll mostly find him building forts in paradise.
