Hawks Nest Beach Home

Près de 1600 pieds carrés d'espace de vie ouvert, dont 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes. Chambre principale avec lit queen, commode, tables de nuit avec lampes de lecture, télévision et salle de bain principale. Deuxième chambre meublée d'un lit queen size, tables de nuit et une armoire. La troisième chambre comprend un ensemble de lits jumeaux, une table de nuit et une commode. Salon avant aménagé avec canapé sectionnel, fauteuil inclinable, chaise et pouf avec télévision et une grande étagère (prenez un livre / laissez un livre). Le salon arrière comprend un canapé-lit sectionnel, une télévision et une table de jeux / puzzles. Vérifiez le placard du hall pour les jeux, les cartes et les puzzles. La cuisine / salle à manger ouverte est parfaite pour se divertir. Cuisinière vitrocéramique, micro-ondes, four grille-pain, cafetière, mixeur, marmite et beaucoup d'outils de chef choyés. Sièges de table de cuisine 8.

Planchers de bois franc partout avec carreaux de céramique dans les salles de bain. Salle de lavage avec laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur. Ventilateurs de plafond dans chaque pièce.

Après une journée à la plage, accrochez votre costume une serviette sur la corde à linge et profitez de la douche extérieure. Le patio est équipé d'un barbecue à gaz, d'un canapé, de tables et de chaises pour accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes. La cour arrière est entièrement clôturée.

Maison meublée avec draps, serviettes de bain, serviettes de plage, fer et planche à repasser. Nous avons également des chaises de plage, des parasols et des vélos à votre disposition.

Hawks Nest Beach est une communauté balnéaire familiale. Prenez un vélo dans le garage, choisissez une chaise longue de plage et vous êtes sur la plage en 5 minutes. Pendant la saison estivale, emmenez les enfants faire du vélo à Sound View, montez sur le carrousel (j'espère que vous obtiendrez l'anneau en laiton), offrez-vous de la crème glacée ou de la glace italienne de Vecchitto. Si vous n'aimez pas les petits trucs d'enfants, Lenny's on the Beach ou le Pavilion peuvent vous offrir une soirée amusante!

Great place to stay!! Exceptionally clean, very well stocked kitchen, linens, towels, games, beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers! All we needed to bring was food and clothes! Owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful with ideas where to eat and what to do. Will stay here again if we decide to go back to Connecticut!!

Great! A lot of room to spread out. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning was excellent. There is a big back yard with patio seating. We loved having the bikes and beach stuff to use during out stay. This is an awesome VRBO for Hawks Nest!

Wonderful house for a family!

Meg's house was perfect for our family week at the beach.... clean, comfortable and well-stocked. There were multiple bikes and beach chairs to choose from, plenty of bath and beach towels, and a large selection of kitchen supplies. The floor layout and comfy furniture suited everyone's needs.

We loved our stay at this Hawk's Nest Beach home. The house was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We have been coming to HNB for many years and have always had to pack our linens and towels; not having to bring those this year was amazing. The fleet of bikes was so helpful for us to travel back and forth to another family member's cottage. The outside area was perfect for dinners. We made great use of the spacious kitchen and living rooms. There was plenty of room for our group to play games comfortably. There was also a puzzle table. I would love to come back to this home again if it's available. The host was so responsive to answering questions, and the neighbors were also very nice.

Great Accommodations

We had a wonderful week at Hawks Nest Beach. This lovely home provided everything anyone could need and more including an array of bicycles to ride around the neighborhood and get us quickly to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked. The owners were pleasant and very responsive. The welcome basket was an unexpected and appreciated surprise; enjoyed by all.

Good Place

As other guests have noted, this a very comfortable, exceptionally clean property in a pleasant neighborhood, within walking distance to the beach. There is a big, pretty, well-furnished yard. The primary bath is petite, but has a shower big enough to work fine with a shower chair, unlike some much larger bathrooms we have encountered. The location is great, near to two very nice state parks and many other attractions. Rocky Neck has the prettiest sand, and a very nice boardwalk. We didn’t try out the grill, but the kitchen is well-equipped, with plenty of counter space. Lots of good restaurants are nearby.

Summer rental

Very large kitchen & living rooms. 2 bathrooms & wonderful fenced in yard - so peaceful. This place has the convenience of many, many pans & utensils if you’re inclined to cook. Also baked a birthday cake for my grandson using the perfect size cake pan. Providing towels & linens is a bonus. We spent time all week completing a difficult puzzle we found in the “game closet”. Wonderful Home, attentive owners and great vaca spot

Meg was absolutely wonderful to work with and the home was warm, welcoming and absolutely spotless (tough to do with visitors trekking in sand every day). We loved the two spacious living areas and the great back yard. The house is stocked with all the beach supplies and equipment you could ever need and seriously reduced our packing needs. We love Hawks Nest Beach and only wish the home was a few blocks closer to the water. A very short bike ride, but a bit of a walk with two little kiddos. We will be back!

Extended stay during transition

This home was better than I ever could've expected! You don't get the full view or feel through the photos. I got to stay a couple of months and I can honestly say that out of all the vacation rentals I have booked, this one was far superior. The house was fully stocked with everything you could ever want or need. Quite honestly, Ive never seen anything like it. Very spacious, very comfortable and very quiet. The home was also spotless upon my arrival. Great area, great neighborhood. Kudos to Meg and Jay on a fantastic job. Great hosts! 10's across the board!! The only negative was that I had to leave!

Clean great property close to beach

This property has quite a bit of space and is great for two couples or a family. We were in town for the USCGA graduation and it was convenient. Huge back yard with lots of outside seating and two tables, fire pit and gas grill. Great for having bbq with family and lots of extra chairs. House was very clean and stocked well with all cookware. Refrigerator has an ice maker which was a plus! House is well stocked with towels and hand soap. You may want to bring your own bath soap. We enjoyed the Keurig each morning to make coffee. Also this house has two huge living room areas. Lots of bikes to take into beach. We stopped by Kokomo’s for some food and drinks. Right on the beach and close to the house! Grocery stores are a 15 minute drive from the house. There is a mini mart fairly close to the house for quick shopping. Neighbors are friendly and neighborhood is quiet.

Excellent beach home!

We recently stayed at this home for the second year in a row. Again this year, we were pleasantly greeted with a welcome basket full of goodies to enjoy during our stay and a personalized note! We love to open the doors to the brightly colored walls and beach décor. This home truly has everything that a traveler would need on a beach vacation. The house is kept very clean, neat and organized. The many air conditioning units make it easy to stay comfortable on hot days and nights. Every kitchen utensil and appliance necessary could be easily located and were all cooking ready. The towels and linens were fresh and ready for use upon arrival. We all love the entertainment closet, full of puzzles, games and barbies! The house offers at least 15 bikes of all sizes and skill levels so each family member could ride to the beach! Our children loved the gaming system and the many television streaming services. Outside the home, the fenced in back yard is excellent for small children and we made use of all of the outdoor games, sidewalk chalk, ladder ball, etc.! We loved the outdoor shower and nearby clothes line. The hose also came in handy for rinsing off our sea salty items. We enjoyed the fire pit and made use of the outdoor grill and seating on the patio area nightly. We were so fortunate to make Meg and Jason’s house our home away from home for another year of memories at Hawk’s Nest Beach!

Perfect Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at Meg and Jason's home away from home! We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Key pad entry was great as we didn't need to keep track and/or worry about losing a key. The house easily accommodated four adult and three children, with plenty of room to spare. Everything was clean and fresh, from the brightly colored walls to the linens and upholstery. The house's location allowed us to take a short walk to the beach, but there was a variety of bikes in every size and skill level, including a few with training wheels as an option. The fenced yard was ideal for small children and had ample seating and umbrellas for quests. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as the variety of sporting equipment available in the garage. The outdoor shower, in close proximity to the clothes line, was perfect for cleaning up after a day at the beach. We chose a dinner location from the suggested restaurants and really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed a few tasty treats from their vegetable garden. The toys, games, puzzles, barbie dolls and video games were a big hit with the kids, and having multiple TVs with a variety of streaming programs provided something for everyone. The kitchen had every appliance, utensil and dish you could possibly need , nothing was missing! Having cleaning supplies / equipment readily available was very helpful too. Meg and Jason really thought of everything when it comes to a beach rental. We felt comfortable , safe and welcome the entire week, and we hope to stay again.

This is a very nice home. There are two living rooms, with tv’s in both. Traveling with children this was very convenient. The house was very clean with everything you need (dishes, pans etc). It is a bit of a walk to the beach so we ended up driving people to the beach with chairs etc. and having one person drive back and take a bicycle back. The property owner was in contact with us and answers all of our questions promptly. She is very pleasant. Including having us help ourselves to the little garden.

Even Better Than the First Time!

This was our second time staying at this beach house. The rental process and check-in is seamless--love the new, easy to use lock. Everything you need for a short or extended stay is here--hair dryers, loads of towels, every kitchen implement imaginable, and even bikes for the entire family! I am sure we will be back again soon.

I grew up living in Hawks Nest beach every summer. I knew that as an adult I wanted to enjoy summers at the beach as well. The kids and I love to weekend at the beach and spend our vacations with our toes in the sand. Beach bums at heart.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I wanted a house at Hawks Nest and this one had more than I needed or wanted, but the house is more than the standard cottage you would find at the beach. This is a year round house with the beauty of a beach community. The house is equipped with everything you will need. I supply linens, towels, on site laundry, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, cable, wi-fi, grill, fire pit, seasonal garden, outdoor shower and even condiments and spices. All you need to bring is a clothes, food and a willingness to have a great vacation!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our house has a one car attached garage to store all of our beach gear and a good number of bicycles for everyone to have a "ride" to the beach. The open concept lends for the perfect home to host family gatherings in the winter. Our large patio works for summer entertaining.

The house has an entire home water filtration system, no need to buy bottled water.

Nearly everything is provided except clothes and food!
