You are renting two fresh and clean duplexes side by side, just a stone throw from the beach.  Six bedrooms are carefully situated in separate areas of the house for maximum sleep-time privacy for a large family staying together but not in each other's hair. With two kitchens and two living rooms, everyone can come and go at their leisure, which makes it perfect for running back and forth to the beach or the Carolina Beach Boardwalk as much as you want: it is so close!  When you are ready to come together for an oyster or hot dog roast, we upgraded our two back yards with an adjoining gate so that you can pull the outdoor picnic tables together.

Parking: Private Driveway for up to ten vehicles. Do NOT park on the grass. No RVs, boats, or trailers are permitted to park on the premises.
Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.Â
Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.
Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.
Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.Â
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy:
Up to 6 Dogs Allowed (3 per side MAX). The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.
Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure youâre aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether itâs exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Getting Around:
Sea Coast Input: Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pleasure Island at an hourly rate).
Carolina / Kure Beach is easily navigable once you're here. Our beach towns are very accessible and family friendly for vehicles, bikes and golf carts. Renting bikes and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advance reservations are recommended beach accessories. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Carolina/Kure Beach and explore the Carolina Beach state park and itsâ many hiking trails. Or the Carolina Beach Greenway walking trail.
Enjoy a day trip from Fort Fisher to Southport aboard the Southport Car Ferry, then wander through the townâs quaint streets filled with unique antique shops and restaurants!
