Sonoran Desert getaway

This very clean and modern condo is located next to the Ventana Canyon wash which is teeming with desert wildlife such as roadrunners and coyotes. The large patio is an idyllic spot for observing the local flora and fauna. Upscale shopping and restaurants are only a few minutes away. Highly recommended!

MAGNIFICENT VIEW—overall great stay

We enjoyed our stay. Lovely condo with all the comforts. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub near our unit were out of commission during our stay. But we could use the pool and hot tub directly across the street (where the fitness room is located) which was just fine! The view is truly breathtaking. Wonderful property.

Comfortable and nice size with spectacular view of the mountains

Place is spacious and clean. The location is terrific. Walkable to grocery store and restaurants. Easy access to canyons and mountains for hiking and not too far from downtown for activities.

The location and facilities make it the perfect choice when visiting Tucson. We were only there for two weeks this time, but we felt right at home. Rating Details: The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Tucson and the Greens, but something happened this year. The condo had not been cleaned, the sheets on the bed had a big rip down the center, no cleaning supplies. I had to buy cleaning supplies, a mop, batteries for every remote and a light bulb for the refrigerator. There were cobwebs in every window so I know it had been a long time between cleaning. Also, had bugs.

Pleasant for a short term stay. I would not recommend for a long term stay

The condo is very nice with modern appliances. However, be prepared to bring or buy everything if you intend to cook. We found salt, pepper, and paprika in the pantry. The condo stays very cool, which was pleasant, given the very hot weather we experienced in April/early May. The pool is small, and by the end of our month-long stay was filled with dead bugs! There was plenty of shade, so it was pleasant to sit by the pool and read in the late afternoon. The condo has a very small feel, with a patio that would accomodate 2-3. What we didn't like most was that there was no garage, so we needed to bring our bikes in every night. Not a good condo if you intend to bring a bike.

Fabulous Foothills

This is such a special place. The description was super accurate with photos that show exactly whet you’ll find. We loved the location that was both a little remote and yet not far from anything! There is a varied array of shopping and restaurants nearby. Jeannine was an excellent communicator and so beautifully and cheerfully responsive. Check in and out super easy! Everything about this place is fabulous and I look forward to returning.

Too short a stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a difficult decision to leave the Greens after only one week. We have come for several years and this was to be for a month. The worry about flying home was our final point. Even at that we experienced 3 cancelations before leaving. We had mad many good friends from all over the US and Canada because of our times at the Greens. The staff, especially Jeanine are wonderful in every way. Our condo however was NOT as clean as we've experience in the past. Dush bunnies/ papertowel under the bed, dishes in the kitchen not all clean. could use a better cleaning for sure.

This property is wonderfully accommodating with a great kitchen and welcoming living space. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the abundant wildlife including bobcats, coyotes, a mountain lion, hares, lizards, quail, raptors, songbirds and loads of different hummingbirds. If you're looking for a quiet location just a short drive from shopping, restaurants and entertainment or hiking trails, and canyon carving drives, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 6th year to stay in a condo unit in the Greens. We prefer the mountain side and being on the first floor. This unit fits our needs. We only wish that the blinds were of better quality as they bend very easily. The overall maintenance of the Greens continues to improve. Although some of the woodwork in our unit could stand being repainted.The re-location of the rental offices to an off site location is not user friendly.Looking forward to staying in this unit again!.

This is a great area to stay during the Gem show because of the food, safety and views in this area. The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spotted a pack of Javelinas off our patio the first morning as well as many colorful birds. The bed in the master was very comfortable. The two twin beds were not as comfy. Property management was a tad hard to get a hold of on the weekend, but they did allow us to stay one night longer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 2 bedroom condo met all our needs. We stayed for 1 week. Very convenient check-in and out. Property well-maintained. It is a smaller 2 bedroom but was adequately furnished. King-size bed is a "tempurpedic" so very comfortable. Couches are soft and probably needs replacement. Great area and quiet condo close to everything. Great Italian restaurant nearby across from AJ's grocery called Vivace. Wonderful outdoor dining and authentic Italian food. Back yard is serene and rural as pictured. Hummingbirds buzzing around the patio if you fill the feeder. Great value for your money!
