First, the good: Safe area. The rental was clean with no musty smell or bugs, which was good. The sofa pillows were clean as was the sofa. The towels were nice, the Keurig was fast and hot, and the Panasonic microwave was strong at 1200w. But. It's not tidy on the outside of this property at all. Old rusty welcome sign laid on inside chair left outside the front door that is being ruined by the elements, piles of unfinished projects and tools in weird places, just generally not kept looking presentable. The windows are very rough - hunks of foam or paper towels at the bottom of them all to stop drafts. They're very dirty. There's only one mini-split in the living room and so the cool or warm air struggles to reach the bedroom. There was half a roll of tp, no paper towels, and no dishtowels provided. The silverware was random and had no large forks and only three small salad ones. No cereal bowls (I went out and got two). Very few lamps (I went out and got one of those, too). The wall clock doesn't work. Maybe the worst thing was the drainage situation. When you flush the toilet the shower gurgled ... at first. By the end of the third day it was SPURTING waste out of the shower with every flush. I can tell from experience they have roots in the sewage draining line to the street - it's a slow clog somewhere that builds up when used and then backs up.This place could be practically perfect, but it's in need of attention.
