Stylish Adult Log Cabin Retreat with pool, generator, multiple fireplaces
Escape to a peaceful, stylish retreat on 8 wooded acres beside the Delaware Water Gap National Park. This adult-friendly cabin features modern comforts, an open layout with chefâs kitchen, outdoor kitchen, heated saltwater plunge pool, and a whole-house generator that provides peace of mind. Enjoy an indoor wood-burning fireplace, outdoor gas fireplace, and a wood-burning fire pit. Sip coffee on the deck, share wine by the fire, and unwind in cozy, well-appointed spaces surrounded by nature.
The 1st floor is perfect for entertaining with its open layout, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, high ceiling living room with wood-burning fireplace. The 1st floor also has a mudroom and laundry room, half bathroom, full bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two sets of twin over double bunk beds.
The 2nd floor features the primary bedroom and open loft. The open loft has two spaces - one with a workspace and daybed. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a private balcony.
The cabin's outdoor spaces other than it's 8-acres, include the huge front porch and a firepit in the front yard.
Other things to note:
1) Pool/hot tub is seasonal (closed post-Thanksgiving through April). It can also operate as a hot tub as there are jets on one side and the pool can be heated up to 100 degrees. Guest assumes all responsibility and risk of pool on property by booking. Pool gets treated once per week and maintenance may occur during your visit.
2) Driveway is long and not paved. 4WD recommended in the winter.
House Rules
(1) Please enjoy my beautiful home without smoking in or around it (includes balconies, porches, etc)
(2) No unregistered guests allowed. Host requires copies of IDs of all guests (and service animals) on property.
(3) Not suitable for toddlers and children under 12 - There is a fence in the backyard that forms a semi-circle around the backyard and connects to the house for abiding my pool requirements for the town HOWEVER access to the pool is still available from inside the house without having to go through the fence. Loft areas and breakable items in household may make this cabin unsuitable for adventurous and curious children. In addition, there are no child safety features in this home like cabinet locks. Please do not leave children unsupervised.
(3) Please donât eat or drink in the bedrooms.
(4) Please respect the noise curfew.
(5) Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee.
(6) Please take care of the furnishings. Please donât rearrange the furniture.
(7) Please do your dishes.
(8) Food, convenience and bathroom supplies (e.g., cooking oil, spices, coffee, tea, robes, slippers, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc) that are in the house upon your arrival are for your use only during your stay. There will be a charge for items removed from the cabin.
(9) EV charger permitted for additional cost and prior permission. Use of electricity to plug in a personal portable EV charger also permitted for additional cost and prior permission.
(10) Please do not flush anything in the toilet except 1-ply toilet paper (host provides).
(11) Please turn on the exhaust fan when showering and remember to turn it off when you leave the bathroom.
(12) Guests will not have use of the 2-car garage for parking. There is plenty of exterior parking.
(13) Please do not wear shoes in the house.
(14) As noted, pets are not permitted. The only exception to this is a service animal. Please inform the host ahead of time regarding the presence of a service animal. Note that service animals are expected to not be left alone in the home when guests leave the property.
15) Please see above regarding pool and fence. Please also note guest assumes all risks related to the pool being on site. Also note that once a week the pool will be treated and cleaned. Usually the cleaning is scheduled on a day when guests are not there but sometimes this is not possible so I ask that you provide the pool manager with access when needed.
(16) No wet/dripping feet/bodies permitted in the house.
(17) No "roasting" (eg, marshmellows) in the indoor fireplace or outdoor gas fireplace. Roasting only permitted in the outdoor wood-burning fire pit.
