Perfect quiet area with quick access to JMU. House is very well stocked, and communication with the host was Excellant. I recommend this home with a nice patio and fenced in yard for your pet.
We spent one night here on our way home feom Asheville. Easy peasy off I-81... Picked up dinner at Buc-ee's and took a nice country drive to the house. Beds comfy, wifi and tv easy to use, all amenities. Would come back!
Fully equipped, clean and very comfortable property close to beautiful nature and funfull activities. Very friendly and helpful host. We stayed there as a family with three kids which enjoyed the nice garden.
Great place but be careful letting your dog loose in the backyard
We had a great time at the house - it's quirky but comfortable. There were several holes and a lot of poison ivy in the back yard, so just be careful letting a dog or kids roam around unsupervised.
Clean, comfortable, well equipped house was perfect for our visit to Harrisonburg. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck and our dog enjoyed playing in the yard. Fenced in yard was nice. Location is great, near many stores and restaurants. And only a short drive to hiking and mountain bike trails!
It was a comfortable, convenient stay for our tour at JMU. The host was knowledgeable and very helpful. We had a great dinner based on her recommendation.
Kimberly's place was even better than the pictures! Very spacious open layout in the living / dining rooms / kitchen. Felt private and like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again!
Loved everything! The house is fantastic... cute and comfortable. The location is convenient to shops and dining. The host is amazing and the special touches made our mini get away really nice. We'll definitely be back!
Originally from Chesapeake/Va Beach area, moved our family to the Shenandoah Valley in 2011 and LOVE it here! Work full-time from home, raising four kids (two still home, two at JMU), one grown and now have grandchildren. Love the outdoors and a good glass of wine. I am passionate about hosting well and sharing this beautiful, historical area with eager visitors!
This property is perfect for someone coming to the Valley. It is very close to James Madison University, the hospital, and downtown Harrisonburg. It is a short drive (20 min) from Massanutten mountain for skiing, biking; and less than an hour drive to Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive for scenic driving or hiking. The property itself is on 1.27 acres and surrounded by gorgeous tall trees. The home is perfect for travelers, plenty of room, for privacy and comfort.
The location of this property, the unique setting with trees and large lot, and the interior amenities and updates make this the perfect place to stay for up to six people.
