Lake Superior view, 4-bed, short drive to Lutsen Mtn

4-bed, 3-bath Lutsen retreat with stunning views of Lake Superior. Just 1.5 miles from Lutsen Mountain and across Ski Hill Road from NorthShore Winery. This townhome is spacious and well supplied for family dinners, game nights or streaming a movie after a day of gofl, hiking, downhill or cross country skiing, or snow mobiling. Two gas fireplaces (in the living room and primary bedroom) plus in-floor heat throughout make the space look and feel cozy. AC in the main area of the unit which is nice for the couple weeks when temps are high on the north shore.

You'll find two bedrooms on the second floor, each with a queen bed and separate bathrooms. The primary bedroom upstairs has AC. The main floor bedroom has a full-size bed and is across the hall from the main bathroom which has a shower. The lower level has another queen bed plus a twin bed. Guests using the spacious lower level space share the main floor bathroom/shower (no bathroom on the lower level). Check out the photos to see the layout of the lower level.

This propery offers ample paved parking shared with guests of the other 3 units in this unique townhome building. While we do not offer a bon fire pit, you will find great star gazing at night and plenty day dreaming as you look out at Lake Superior from the living and dining rooms and primary bedroom. On a sunny day, the view is breathtaking and different every day!

Many guests choose to explore Grand Marais (a 25-minute drive) and stop at Cascade River State Park along the way which boasts beautiful waterfalls, cross country skiing and hiking. Grand Marais offers fun day trip options including more skiing, hiking, another Sisu + Loyly sauna, grocery stores, shopping, art and several great dining options. A few miles in the other direction is Tofte, Oberg Mountain and the Sugarbush Trail System with an extensive cross country ski trail network and a developing single-track mountain bike trail network. Snowmobiling is also popular.

This townhome is the perfect location for an all-season getaway on the North Shore and especially magical in the winter! Summer and fall offer golfing, gondola rides, canoe and kayak options on inland lakes, mountain biking, the Superior Hiking Trail, fall colors and so much more. There's so much to do that one trip just isn't enough!
