My friends and I stayed here for a weekend vacation and we really enjoyed our stay! We came to snorkel with the manatees and this place was very close (10 mins away) to the tour we were on as well as to several yummy seafood restaurants, a great coffee place, and Publix! We loved the eclectic decorating and we enjoyed feeding the cats outside. We would definitely consider staying again if we are in the area again!
This property is absolutely amazing. It's The cabin is decorated as a Zen Paradise. There is something new to look at at every turn. The screened in porch allows you to enjoy the outdoors 24/7. I would have given the property five stars but I believe the kitchen and the grounds could use a little TLC. But I enjoyed my stay immensely. huge.
Our only complaint was only one double bed. Also no closet to hang clothes. Quiet neighborhood and well kept cabin. Too many things about rooms that caused clutter.
I had a hard time finding the house because I ran late getting there and it was dark. Once I found it and got my stuff unloaded, all was well. The decor is eclectic as reviews have mentioned. Interesting things from various places. The setting is nice with lots of trees.Close to the ALF I was visiting, it couldnât have been more convenient. Unfortunately, I had to leave after just one night because of a malfunction with a piece of my medical equipment. Lovely kitties were outside to brighten my day:)A couple of draw-backs: there are two higher than average steps to the main living area and there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom - towel rack or even a hook. With the over the door hooks in the hall where Iâd hung my clothes (no closet or hook in the bedroom), a wet towel would have them damp.
We are from Nebraska and we cannot take the cold anymore. We are farmers and ranchers and have worked out in the elements for many years. We decided to retire a few years ago but didnât want to brave the cold winters. We had friends who vacation in Homosassa who we visited. We loved the area very much and have stayed every winter since. We rented a few places but one in particular for the past 12 years until Helena destroyed that home. We needed to find a place at the last minute. A friend sent us Reginaâs phone # so we called her and she told us about this cute adorable little home. We rented it and fell in love, We love the area, the people, and the location is perfect for our lifestyle. The home is just the right size for the 2 of us. We sat every morning and evening out in the screened back porch (we call it). Watching all the animal activities and feeding peanuts to the squirts and birds was a favorite pastime. 2 (Iâm assuming feral) cats are friendly and the calico had 3 babies while we were there. I made friends with the mother and babies and they loved being petted and loved on. It was a joy feeding and watching them play. The owner has various books about places around the world that I found most interesting. Her style of decoration inside the home is something I believe I could sit for hours and discuss with her. We felt so at home and comfortable in the tiny blue home. The back yard is so charming, every time I would walk around I would see something that would mak
