Driveway was very steep, scary to get in and out. Very deceptive from pictures online. Carpet in house is a trip hazard. Several carpets have turned up edges. A simple fix would be to secure the rug with carpet tape.
The house was clean and is very roomy! A few of the pots and pans did not appear clean, but we scrubbed them and all was well. Would definitely stay here again!
There were six of us for our Family vacation. The cabin was just perfect & we all had a lovely Thanksgiving. Very roomy & all accommodations more than met our needs. I will say coming from a pretty much flat state, it was an interesting drive from Pigeon Forge for us-all the hills, curves & dips...just beautiful.
Yes, I would stay there again.
Our vacation was extremely relaxing and the rental was very clean and well kept in my opinion! Our power went out one night due to a tree falling on a power line down the mountain, the situation was handled very quickly and by morning power returned. Staff was very friendly when I had to contact them. The rental offered a fantastic view, will be keeping this place in mind for a return trip!
Upstairs bathroom had very ..very poor water pressure. It came out as a trickle...tv in middle floor bedroom did not work. It had apparently been out for a few days because dish delivered a new box on our last day there The.couch on that same floor was very old and sinking in the middle...all sliding glass doors had tons of dirt and dead bugs in them..pool table in basement was broken on the siderail..basement floor smelled like mildew..there was a dehumidifier down there that had been full for who knows how long...The bedroom door for the basement bedroom would barely open and close..the hot tub was extremely old and had green mildew around the headrests and on the controls. Also around the bottom of the hot tub had moss growing. Over all had the online descriptions said anything about this being an older cabin we would have spent our money at a more updated cabin for the price we paid.
Property is a very nice cabin, plenty of room for our group. Fireplace on the main floor needs a new thermocouple installed, the pilot wonât stay lit, once the timer goes off the fireplace goes out. Bath tubs (whirl pool style) were dirty when filled. Itâs a normal thing to anyone that has them, just something that could be cleaned better. The furniture in the living room area leaves a lot to be desired. The bigger log couch is broken down and actually has supports falling out from under it. No big ticket disappointments, but could be more comfortable and user friendly for the price. Virtual check in was a bust, but we were able to work through it with minimal confusion.
The cabin had all the necessities and was lovely. It was so nice to be able to bring the dog. Christmas tree was a good touch for our Dec stay. Communication and app was terrific.
