We really wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We arrived after a cold winter storm and enjoyed the hot tub our first night under the stars on a crisp snowy night! We enjoyed the proximity to town but if given the opportunity to stay again we might and stayed at the cabin the whole weekend.
I would not stay here again! The flea market decor was tired and needs some serious updates. This cabin needs a thorough cleaning! The den chair smells of pet urine. I sprayed Lysol on it, only to have the smell reappear later! Rat noises woke us 3 nights in a row! It sounded like they were in the bedside table or bedroom wall. Serious banging on the wall finally quieted them! There was shredded insulation on the floor around vents. Cobwebs over bathroom sink and in corner of bathroom. After wearing my white socks around on nasty carpet, they were grimy gray. The Queen bed was NOT comfortable. The sofa also had a musty smell. Overall an unpleasant experience at this location.
Positive things: The office staff was helpful and friendly at check-in. Directions to cabin were precise.
The TV service not very good because it keeps asking for a pin number on anything you try to watch. The bedroom was staying to hot and it was why cooler in the living room. No toilet paper at all. The hot tub outside wasn't has hot as it should have been. To me it was barely warm water in it. It was very quite and peaceful.
This is a great cabin for a romantic get away. The cabin has great views of the mountains and a hot tub on the porch that you can enjoy . There is a fireplace if the weather is cold and a huge jacuzzi to relax in as well.
The bed was horrible!!The bedding and pillows were old and needed to be replaced, we ended up purchasing bedding and pillows but that didn't help with the hard bed.
Very homey feeling! Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but not in the middle of all the madness! It was clean and well maintained. My only complaint was the mattress in the bedroom... it was super firm and therefore my back hurt every morning when I woke up. Internet connection was spotty.
Dreamweaver was a lovely place to stay. It was well-equipped, fairly easy to find, and convenient. The only problem, and one the management vowed to take care of, was that it had an odor of urine that required constant running of fans (both the vent and the heat fan) in the bathroom. Then it was not too bad. If this problem is take care of, this would be a perfect get-away place for a couple or small family!
