The location was great! However, this part of the two family home was very small. The bed was very uncomfortable and was not a queen bed but probably a full. It was small. My husband and I have a queen so we would know. The shower was also very small. If you are a bigger person this property is not for you. Overall the house was clean and had everything you need. The location was in walking distance to shops and restaurants. It can be hard to find parking in the street during the weekend. We got lucky and found a spot and walked the whole time. This is an old house which is fine but there are issues like a musty smell. The wood doors are all hard to close due to heat expansion. The closet and bathroom doors would not close at all. The door to the screened in porch was very hard to close and lock. We could hear the other family in the other part of the house. They had kids running back and forth all day. We made the best of it but for the expense of this place you should know these things. We had fun in the town but I would not stay here again.

Walk to town, charming house with screened porch.Only negative was the bed that was terribly uncomfortable.Otherwise a gem!

Lovely stay

What a beautiful old home that has been thoughtfully converted into a multi family unit. Fully separate spaces and entrances so we never even encountered the other family staying at the same time. Perfect location right in town. Had to communicate with property management once due to an unfortunate power outage in town but they responded immediately and offered to bring us fans to beat the heat! Didn’t need them- power back within a few hours. We were so grateful for a pet friendly place as well. We would 100% come back!

Bright and welcoming

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The property is just as pictured. Everything was clean, the towels were thick and fluffy, hotel quality. There was even a gift bag for our dog. The location is walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Butlers Quarters was a perfect place for us. The location makes it close to all the shopping and good food in Sagatuck, Douglas, and Holland. The screen enclosed patio was where we had our morning toast and coffee. It was great for people watching. The accommodations were just what we needed.

Nice property in a great location

Nice, clean, dog friendly property in a great location- short walk to downtown Saugatuck. Would enjoy coming back in the summer to enjoy the screened porch!

Good choice for 2 people in Saugatuck

We enjoyed our entire visit at this location. First impression: this spot is warm and inviting. Our dog was welcome there; she even had a welcome package waiting for her. We made use of all the place’s features, and everything works great. We parked our car when we arrived on Friday, and didn’t move it until we left the following Monday. No need: Saugatuck’s shopping district is entirely accessible by foot, and having beautiful fall weather enhanced our stay.
