Zeena and Skip where great hosts. The lake fees where beautiful.
If weather cooperated I think would have been lots of fun.
Thank you so sorry about the weather. Hopefully you will come and see us again. Fall is beautiful here as well.
Rustic Yet Clean and Highly Functional Place
This place was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation place. It has a rustic build and feel of a summer lake cabin with all the functionality one would need. By functional, I mean the kitchen was well stocked to do our own cooking, the bathroom was clean, there is internet and even basic cable (though we barely used it). It smelled clean and fresh (not musty as these places often do). The screened porch overlooks the lake where the cabin sits about 80 feet up a hill from the lake shore, and is great for spending time at night, hearing the loons, or in the morning with coffee. There were plenty of chairs to accommodate us having several guests for a day. As well, the place feels out of the way while actually only a couple of miles from a cafe, liquor and beer seller, and a few other places for vacation supplies.
The owners were friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend staying here, as we will likely stay here again.
Thank you so much! Please come again soon.
Dream come true!
Perfect in every way! Excellent location....close to all your needs yet tucked away in the woods...the cabin was much more than I expected.....I wouldn't update anything.....it was clean an well stocked. I will truly miss the peace an quiet. The owners were very nice an willing to supply us with our needs. The fire pit is another plus along with fresh air, clean water and of course great fishing. Hoping to be back next year! Great Stay, thank you!
Thank you for joining us for two weeks you were both a joy to have. Have a good winter and look forward to having you come back to see us next year.
Wonderful Big Sebago Family Canp
We had a wonderful week! We made many great family memories. The highlights were the easy water access, the floating dock, and the view from the screened porch. It was hard to get the kids out of the water! if you are looking for a true maine camp experience, we highly recommend this property.
Thank you also thank u for suggestions we have acted on most of them. Hope to see you again. Have a nice rest of summer.
Camp, not a hotel room, and we loved it!
Wooded lot with a wonderful lake view, swimming, boating, campfire, hot dogs, and s'mores. Comfortable beds, adequate kitchen, good wifi for when it rains (or you "have" to catch up on work). The owners are on the same lot in their summer cabin, both about 60 years old. Great ventilation on the screened-in porch where we spent about half of our time. Good fishing by kayak. Very close to markets, excellent seafood restaurants, and Naples. Short drive to Old Port area of Portland, across to Freeport and LL Bean, or north-northeast to New Hampshire and Mt Washington. It is a wonderful location for a vacation.
Very relaxing and beautiful!
I loved this cabin. So cozy and so relaxing. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries and get a bit of R&R. Had everything we needed and was the perfect size. Hope to make a return trip!
