Great House - Plenty of Room - Beautiful Views

Our group of 15 had plenty of room in this house. The layout is unique with the pool in the center. The bunk room had more space than we anticipated- which is always nice. Owner was great with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place!

This home superseded our expectations. It was very clean and our hosts were very responsive. It was perfect for our large family, the kitchen was fully equipped plus the grill in the back yard, close to the lake and stores. Not only were we able to enjoy the pool at the house but we were also granted access to the resorts pool and all the facilities. Overall, we would recommend.

Beautiful Home in Beautiful Setting!

We were in Southern Utah for a wedding. We had 22 people staying in the house. The house had plenty of room without people tripping over one another. We needed more blankets, housekeeping was quick to get them to us.The staff was very friendly. The experience was wonderful and we would vacation there again.

Pool in the house 😳

My kids loved the pool in the house. I loved that you could ATV from the property without having to haul the machines to different locations. The sand hollow state park is just down the road. We paddle boarded, swam, played in the sand, and jumped off the cliffs. We also golfed Sand Hollow links course and the impress back 9 on the main Sand Hollow course. The golf here is breathe taking. The house had tons of beds and the patio on the roof was perfect. The pool in the middle really was everyone’s favorite. 😎😎 I could cook dinner or relax on the couch and the kids could swim swim swim. Great family vacation. We stayed for 4 nights and that was a perfect amount of time to enjoy everything.

Great space for a large group

This is a really neat house. I has lots of beds and bathrooms. The bed have nice mattresses so they are comfortable. It has a small outdoor pool on the inside of the house. The house is built around the outdoor pool space. The living room has a massive sectional so we could all be sitting in there chatting together which was our favorite part of the house. However, its really dark. Its decorated in very dark colors and the rooms have limited light, especially the bathrooms. Otherwise, it is excellent! We'd be interested in staying again if the circumstance was right.

Playtime with friends

The property was fantastic. However the front desk people at the resort could use some improvement. Not very friendly. Had to wait 3 hours for sheets to be delivered they forgot to put on a bed. 3 phone calls later they finally arrived. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work. But over all I would rent this property again. Large, roomy, clean and beautiful

Use of Wonderful Home for Our Family

Our family enjoyed an awesome 4 days in this beautiful home. The pool in the home made it a memorable stay for all in the family. We had 10 grandchildren who enjoyed the pool along with all family members. The home is also close to many other wonderful attractions, Sand Hollow Reservoir, St. George, Zions, etc. We did not want for activities as a group or in our free time. The evening sunsets were beautiful as we went up to the patio. The amazing home, its comforts along with all the amenities of the Sand Hollow Resort and the reasonable cost made for a wonderful family vacation. Thanks you so much!! The only concern would be that the pool cover did not function and I hope that service to repair that would have occurred immediately upon request. We easily dealt with a way to be sure of the safety of all the grandchildren but that would be the only concern I could express on this amazing home and location. I would give this home 10 stars if I could!

Sand Hallow Stay Thanksgiving 2021

Great location. The management responded quickly when there weren't many towels and the beds were missing blankets at the house. We were very disappointed when the pool at the house was not heated as we had been promised. The pool at the house was the reason that we chose this property. We were also told that the 3 pools that are located on the property would be heated until November 29 (we stayed at the property November 23-27). But they were not. There was a hot tub at the community pool area that the kids enjoyed. As we checked out we were told that we would be reimbursed because of the cold swimming pool. We also received a phone call from the property management saying they would partially reimburse us because of the cold swimming pools. But then we never heard any more from them. Maybe they forgot. Sand Hallow is a beautiful area.

Almost perfect

Loved the central pool in the house but with no pool towels… it was a bit of a mess. Easy to watch the kids swim from anywhere in the house. Kitchen was lacking big time! Not enough plates or cups for the number of people the house holds. Nothing in the cupboards, not even salt and pepper so bring everything you need. No filtered water from the fridge, just ice which was very needed. There were 2 extra garbage bags under the sink and that’s it! Zero kitchen linens for drying dishes. Not enough towels or blankets for the number of people the house sleeps. We loved the house and the stay but I expected more based on other homes we’ve rented in the area.

Family reunion at Red Desert Oasis

We really enjoyed renting this home. The kids loved the pool and swam about three times a day! The pool was heated, so no matter the weather or temperature, they enjoyed a warm swim. The adults enjoyed using the pool almost like a hot tub at night to relax. All the beds were comfortable and seemed even larger than advertised, ie: in the bunk bed room the Twins were actually more like full size beds, and in some of the bedrooms the Queen's seemed as large as king size beds. That was a nice surprise! The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Everyone loved the cool Pantry door . :) We only wish they had been salt-and-pepper shakers provided. One other suggestion is that they put in a towel rack or extra hooks in the pool area. We had a large group and there was not enough space in the bathrooms to hang all the bath towels plus swimming towels and swimsuits. We used the back porch and the patio furniture to drape towels, but it would have been nice to have an official rack or more hooks. The weather was beautiful even when it rained, the temperatures were perfect. Fun place for a large group soiree.

Terrible customer service

This could be such a great place to stay. It is a nice home that sleeps a lot of people. It is across from Sand Hollow Lake. However, house wasn’t clean. Dead flies in window seals and on kitchen lights, windows were very dirty and smeared and dust. Bathrooms were clean. When we arrived air conditioning wasn’t working properly. It was 79 degrees. Freezer wasn’t malfunctioning too and our ice cream melted. When we contacted office, they didn’t immediately call a repairman. Just sent housekeepers down to try to figure it out. Finally said they would call someone but when we called he following day, person that answered didn’t seem to know about problem and we had to start all over. We stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t til the last night that they got a repairman to fix air conditioning. They were not quick to offer a discount for the problems and clearly not trained or experienced with customer service. I had to be one that brought up that a discount would be appropriate in this scenario. Disappointing. The pool shown on website is way smaller in real life. More like a giant hot tub and is warm and not refreshing. However, the access we had to the community shared 3 pools was perfect. They are clean, fun pools. If the customer service from the office of Sand Hollow was good and the house was cleaned correctly, I would give this house a 4 -5 star rating.
