I arrived at the house at 10 PM. We could not get into the lockbox. I messaged the owner as well as called the owner and nobody responded. Then I tried calling Vrbo and got disconnected three times.I had to leave and drive 20 minutes away to try to get a different hotel at 11 PM at night when the owner finally responded and said I was given the wrong check-in code.We went back and got into the house and the owner said they would count me for the first night and they never did. There was hair all over the sheets. I had to go to the next day to buy new sheets to cover the bed and a new comforter. I also had to purchase new towels because the towels they had given us didnât dry us.The house smelled like mold. There was leftover open food in the cabinets.Every time a car passed out front over a speed bump the outside lights would turn on and brighten up one of the guest rooms in the middle of the nightIt was a terrible experience. I definitely would have switched out of the house to somewhere else, but I was there for a business conference and didnât have time.
This stay was just as imaginative as we thought it was going to be. Chris, the host, 100/10 he was very communicative, attentive, and accommodating as to what was needed and he answered within a timely manner. For example, the dishwasher was leaking from the previous stay (possibly previously stay) and we contacted Chris to which he was understanding and communicative on the matter and told us not to worry about it as we both tried to fix to facilitate. We asked and he delivered!! The place itself was very quait, clean, quiet, and located in the middle of Duluth to where we wanted as it was close to my family in Duluth. Less than 10 minutes to the vastly growing Duluth. Would definitely book again with Chris.
I'm a real estate agent and this is my assistant puppy Tucker's home. We've seen how much Duluth has grown and have been excited about being in the center of it. We enjoy chilling at home, sinking in our amazing sofa, watching the sunset from the front porch, watching movies, and trying new foods nearby. We have had so many great years here and want to share our experience with the rest of the world.
