The kitchen is great for a large group. It was hot when we were there and th upper bed rooms were a little warm for sleeping. The main floor was large enouth all 20 of use could use it.

Property itself was lovely and wonderful for family gathering. I will however be looking for individual owner because communication was a definite problem .A/C was not good no matter how we set thermostat

The house was beautiful. However, it does not sleep 22. There are beds for 18. There are couches, but they don't pull out. Advertised 2 kitchens. 1 was a kitchenette with a microwave. We were expecting 2 stoves/ovens. The hot tub did not heat, but maintenance was there the next morning to fix it. The kids had a great time in the game room. The GFI at the pergola didn't work, but we had an extension cord that we used to get the lights working. The fire pit was enjoyed by all.

This was the perfect place for our large extended family to share the holidays together!

The basement game room and movie theater were big hits! The hot tub, yard and proximity to hocking hills hikes was perfect.

Great place for a large group--lots of space, lovely setting and hot tub, great for kids.

The kids had place to watch movies, play air hockey, etc. while adults cooked, visited and relaxed. Wonderful kitchen and eating space.

Great stay for a large group

We enjoyed the open kitchen and living room spaces, number of bathrooms; game room, outdoor seating front and back of the house, and all of the little personal touches around the home. Our one complaint was how very hot it got on the first and second floors even when setting the thermostat to 64/65 degrees. It made it tough to sleep.

The cabin was perfect for our family and friends. Plenty of space for 8 adults and 6 kids, 7 and under! It was clean and well stocked! The host was helpful and responsive. The cabin provided everything we needed for a memorable winter cabin getaway!

This was the perfect venue for our women’s wellness retreat. We were able to do yoga both inside and outside, enjoy some team building exercises, we even set up a tea party outside on the stone patio. We had some issues with the coffee maker morning 1 but the hosts delivered a brand new keurig promptly. Thank you for everything!

Kitchen was awesome, definitely the most well stocked of any place I've stayed. The number of sleeping spaces was maybe a bit of a stretch but we made it work. Ran into a few issues while we were there but the host was super responsive and helpful in getting any issues we had resolved.

We came to this property for an office staff trip. It was perfect and had so much to offer. From the great fire pit, outdoor patio, spacious living room and kitchen to the amazing game room in the first floor.

The best home our family has stayed in for a getaway, it had everything we needed.

Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. A huge living room where we could all hang out. A kitchen table large enough for all of us to eat together. The movie theater room was so much fun. Plenty of spaces for people to get away by themselves for a bit if needed. It was perfect for our family weekend.

Our family of twenty gathered for a memorial retreat weekend having recently lost a loved one. We had ample space to come together under one roof while sharing and enteracting with one another but retained the opportunity to retreat for alone time as well. The temperature out was cold but the fire pit's continual burning and the warm hot tub became the center of our evenings. The kitchen was complete, it lacked nothing when preparing meals for 20 over the entire weekend.The movie theater AAA+++.

Enjoyed our stay.

Hello, This is our second year using this property for our annual Mens Retreat. The house is spacious and offers a lot of room for us to spread and enjoy a weekend of rest. The outdoor fire pit area is awesome, the hot is stellar! If the following could be fixed, it would have elevated our experience and made the price for the two nights more worth it: There was only one busted up ping pong paddle, the basement bathroom sink didn't drain, couches are shot, no pickleballs to go with the net, dvd/Blu-ray player power cord was broke so couldn't watch movies, the front couch in the movie theater room had a broken pullout.

Our group has stayed here before. This property has had some improvements completed over the last year but still needs some attention. 1-HVAC was not operating properly. The HVAC system in the basement was leaking water which ran from under the wall into the main area-property manager was informed and we mopped up the puddles. The property owners added some wind AC units around the house to help. 2-One of the bunk beds collapsed. The top bunk collapsed onto the bottom bunk with one of our group in bed-property manager was informed and we put the bed back together. Some of our group slept on the couch to avoid further risk.3-In our opinion this property was a poor value. The cost was over 3000 for two nights and we were charged 50/hr for a early arrival at 2:00PM. The stay was OK but I would expect more for the price paid.

We stayed here for our family vacation and Walnut Hill Lodge comfortably accommodated our party of 17. The kids had tons of things to keep them entertained when we just wanted to relax at the house, especially the outside toys they provided. All the hikes we wanted to do were less than 20 min drive from the house, which was super convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, utensils and other miscellaneous supplies. The beds were comfortable and the bunk room was a huge hit with our kids. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings or sitting under the covered patio out back when it rained. If you have a large group and don't want people to feel like they are cramped when inside, I highly recommend staying here.
