Located in Lubbock's South Overton Historic District, it's brick streets and turn of the century Tudor-style homes emerged in the early 1900's in conjunction with Texas Tech University. It's an easy, two block walk to campus and other popular spots on University Avenue. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home away from home.
We came to a Tech football game to reconnect with friends. Found the house clean and ready for us! Entry was easy. And we were close to all the things going on on campus! It was great to have the room to relax and visit!
The house is well maintained and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We did have some issues with the toilet one night and let the owner know. We would stay here again.
The place was super cute and beds were really nice and comfortable. It was great location. I felt like I was close to everything. I would stay here again.
House could use a better cleaning person as was somewhat dusty/dirty. Was tidy but not clean. The shampoo body wash and conditioner dispensers in the shower were broken and had only one extra of paper towels as well as almost out of trash bags. Put a tad more effort into the place to get 5 starts.
Thankful for this charming home being so welcoming and warm. it was the perfect escape over our Thanksgiving break. All needs one could have for a stay are readily available. Beautiful decor. We will be back!
The property was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed staying at this location. Easy access to the sites we wanted to visit. The only problem with the property was the shower dispensers were empty, no coffee (except Keurig pods) and creamer which would have been helpful. The major problem we encountered was with notifications prior to arriving. The day before arriving I still had not received notification of checking in procedures. I tried to contact someone to find out this information but was not getting any response. I ended up going on the Chat line with Adam (AI?) and he gave me the information, but the picture did not match our rental and the address was different. Arriving around 8:00 pm we tried the location Adam had sent us and were not able to enter. Thank goodness because we received information while we were driving that gave us the correct address. This was the place that we had rented, and the information we received for the other place worked on the correct location. This was a mess for us, especially after long a day driving. We enjoyed the visit but the communication was unacceptable.
Great stay, hope itâs available next time Iâm in town
Excellent area the house is very nice. Large and open floor plan good for my kids. Only criticism would be that the cleaning could be better. Found dried out donut under the couch in living room.
It was a great location. At first Adam communicated well, but then we didn't hear from him for the rest of the stay. The communication just completely stopped, so we didn't get resolution to issues like the Wifi password not working, the shampoo despenser not working, and no dish soap to manually wash big dishes. The beds were too firm, but had plenty of pillows. Other than those issues it was a good stay in Lubbock for our family.
Love the location of this lovely home, unfortunately, we were unable to stay at this location due to City work being done around the house at the time and we were canceled on at the very last moment. That said, we have stayed here before and management is very responsive and friendly. This home is in walking distance to campus and not too far for walking to games. Very comfortable stay. We'll be back.
