For just my husband and I and our 3 dogs this place was perfect. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The property owners were super communicative and nice! Will definitely be booking again.
Very cute cabin, I love that there was a DVD player and a few movies available for it! I actually still have quite a few DVDs from the 2010s that Iâll bring next time to play. The firewood is very dry and really good quality. The dock is super cute and if you like fishing or kayaking, they have kayaks and a canoe to use which are super great! Highly recommend!
The property was gorgeous and being on the beautiful lake was stunning. We stayed in Cabin 1, which the pictures make it look like it's a cabin, but in fact it's a tiny mobile home. The decor was cute but the cabin is really old and needs a lot of TLC and maintaining. The grounds could have been really pretty but none of the outdoor furniture was cleaned off...it was so dirty and full of cobwebs that it looked like the place was abandoned for a while. If you're going to have all that seating area, at least make it nice for the guests to sit on and relax. Needless to say we couldn't enjoy sitting outside under the trees so we spent most of our time on the dock looking at the beautiful lake.
The leaves were beautiful. The cabin was adequate very small but yet cute. The lake wasnât very visible and a long walk down the stairs to get to the lake just to see it if you like the woods itâs a beautiful place pretty much the middle of nowhere, but Lake Tomahawk is a quick drive to the north.
We stayed for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable however the shelf on the left side, though seems convenient, needs to be raised. Husband bumped often while trying to sleep. Needs more lights. Very dark on the inside. Did not realize how poor the kitchen area was, lack of decent dishes like coffee cups. We were ok with our stay but glad that we did not plan on doing any cooking. Would not stay any longer than those two days. Cabin was cute and clean. Our dog did not want to enter because of the rodent sensor on the counter. Highly sensitive to the pitch. Maybe let guests know, he was shaking, hiding and panting for hours until we figured it out.
