The home was wonderful to live in for a few days! Yes the both bathrooms being in two of the three rooms was a bit odd but not uncomfortable or inconvenient. We only wish we were there for longer to take better advantage of the river front. The owner was very easy to reach and work with. Would recommend!

I loved the house the rooms spaces the living room outside view. We had a wonderful stay! The host was easy to communicate with and the property was exactly as described. Highly recommend! There are plenty outdoor-river related activities and the equipment is available for use. Very important decision for me was they're pet friendly! My rat terrier/chi mix had a blast in huge yard available (not fenced though). The host was helpful at all points along the way. Couldn't have asked for better. There were only 3 of us but this house is perfect for large family. So relaxing and quiet here.

House was clean. Lots of room for us. We have 11 people. This listing claims to be "pet friendly" but when you look further into it, they do not want your pets on their furniture. And if you leave your pet and go out, they want you to Kennel your pet. I would call this "pet tolerant" at best. Then the light shining out of the bathroom in the front shows you all kinds of pet hair. So if this is a hard and fast rule, I wish the cleaning crew would make a better effort to see that all pet hair is removed.I was supposed to be credited some money because there were not enough toilet paper.

Charming Home

The place was lovely and perfectly set on the late. This is an older home but everything was great and in good condition! We were 12 people and a bit cramped for space but as a family we loved it! Megan was super great and helpful and was able to take care of all our needs!

We chose this house for the sole purpose of access to the Guadalupe River however the house itself was so cute! It was spacious and clean! Our host Megan was very responsive and friendly! She had all the necessary equipment for the river to include inflatables, kayaks, and standup boards. Great house I recommend for a family or just a girls trip!

The property is lovely, right on the river. The living room was spacious and comfortable. We spent quite a bit of time playing games, which was lots of fun. The sleeping arrangements were unexpected, with 6 mixed adults all sharing one room and 2 couples sharing another, but we made due for the week. Having the only bathrooms in the 2-main bedrooms made it a bit awkward for some, but again, we got through the week. We were comfortable enough, but would have appreciated more sleeping and bathing areas.

Birthday Getaway

We were looking for a place to have the whole family together for my wifes birthday, and this property had it all! Unlike other properties we have stayed at, these folks have everything and I mean everything. They even had paddle boards for the river and a spare tooth brush for one of my kids who forgot theirs. The outside entertainment area is amazing and we will surely be back.

Beautiful environment!

This place is beautiful! Great views and scenery! Looks exactly like pictures but views are better in person! House was easy to find and easy instructions to get inside, and plenty of parking for everyone. House was very clean upon arrival and plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The hosts are very generous and provided lots of outdoor equipment to use for the backyard. Not to mention my favorite part about this house is that there is a river located directly in the backyard! 10/10 stay HIGHLY recommend

Summer flood

Texas needed rain but we got more than we bargained for which made the Guadalupe inaccessible for floating and fun. Unfortunately this was why we booked our trip. Nothing the property managers could help. The house is definitely too small for two families of 5. Although there are enough places for people to sleep, the living space and kitchen are very crowded to accommodate larger families. The propane was empty so we had to go fill it up, but the owners were quick in responding and giving us money to cover that. It is an older house with no central heat/air. The outdoor amenities/things for kids to do were great.
