Retraite au bord du lac

C'est une escapade parfaite de la ville pour un week-end en retraite ou une semaine de vacances ou plus. À seulement 1, 5 heures de route du centre-ville d'Atlanta. L'Université de Géorgie à Athènes est à seulement une heure pour les fans de l'UGA et à une heure d'Augusta, où les fanatiques de golf se réunissent pour le Masters Golf Tournament chaque printemps!

Tout ce qui est fourni et tout ce que vous avez à faire est de vous amener et de bonne compagnie.
Grande grande salle avec coin salon, foyer au bois et table de billard et bois franc partout. La cuisine est entièrement rénovée et entièrement approvisionnée en argenterie, vaisselle, verrerie, four grille-pain, casseroles et poêles, autres petits appareils électroménagers, etc.

La maison est équipée de 2 lits Queen avec ventilateurs. Profitez de la vue sur le lac depuis la grande baie vitrée du salon ou depuis le
projeté dans le porche avec ventilateur de plafond.

Les logements sont confortables et se sentent comme à la maison. La propriété est boisée et privée avec un grand quai de bateau et beaucoup de cour pour profiter du badminton, du trou de maïs, du crochet ou du bocci ball. Le quai du bateau a un refroidisseur de boissons, une échelle rétractable, une zone ombragée avec ventilateur de plafond et une terrasse ensoleillée de bonne taille pour la pêche ou les bains de soleil.

Profitez du coucher de soleil depuis le quai avec des cocktails et une bonne conversation. L'eau est à environ 4 pieds au quai. Le port de plaisance de Twin Bridges est à 10 minutes en voiture et à 5 minutes en bateau et dispose d'une rampe de mise à l'eau.

La pêche sur le lac est un temps passé populaire. Il y a souvent des tournois de pêche disponibles. Pour plus d'informations sur la pêche, vous pouvez visiter le site Web du Département des ressources naturelles de la Géorgie.

Les villes d'intérêt environnantes sont Milledgeville et Greensboro. Les villes regorgent de boutiques d'antiquités intéressantes, de musées et d'excellents restaurants. Une recherche sur Internet de «visiter Milledgeville, Géorgie» vous fournira une mine d'informations touristiques.

Perfect Stay In Get Away

My fiance and I love to just get away sometimes and fish. When we say this listing we thought it would be perfect and IT WAS!This place had all the things available to you and the dock was great to fish off of and shaded for our dog to chill along with us.

A true vacation HOME 🏠

It was the perfect place to make memories with my family. It didn’t feel like a vacation place but instead a home. The FULLY stocked home made making memories effortlessly! I have never been so happy with a VRBO. It was perfect!

Peaceful

My family and I had the best time staying here. The dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. We brought our boat and loved jumping on to grab breakfast at Twin Bridges Landing which is very close by. The house is stocked with lots of games for adults and kids. Our children loved playing with the giant Jenga and checkers. The area was quiet and evenings on the dock were peaceful, especially during the week. It was just what we needed.

Cozy Valentines Day getaway

Very clean and comfortable, well supplied, welcoming, and fun. Great Lake location; owner was very responsive and friendly. Tho the weather during our trip didn’t cooperate, the pool table provided endless entertainment! Will definitely consider booking this VRBO again.

Quick getaway

The house was older than expected. It carried and odor so we had to light candles that was provided at the house. I had to go out and purchase small spaces airwicks because the candles wasn’t helping. The house hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. I had to clean the refrigerator and stove. I had to sweep the floors. The bathroom was filthy and had an Ant problem..I spoke to the host about the cleanliness of the house and she didn’t seem to care. She was going to respond to me at all until I asked was the boat included. There was only one chair at the dock. The other three was inside of the water. When I told the host she said… Oh I was just there. They must have blown into the water. I found that to be a lie because My Son got those chairs out of the water for them and they were rusted with mud. You could tell they had been in there for Quite some time.My family and I get a lakehouse 3 times out of the year every year and this is by far the worst one I have ran across.

Perfect Lake Sinclair Getaway

Awesome cozy retreat! We loved the upgrades since our last stay! The large picture window looking out in the lake is a favorite spot, and moving the TV next to it was perfect! Enjoyed time on the dock, and on the screened porch during rain showers. We will be back again!

Cozy Stay

Pros- We loved the big picture window looking out on the lake. Property was well stocked for guests…board games, books, soap, shampoo, fishing poles and tackle, etc. We really liked all of the board games and the pool table. WiFi and TV was nice. Plenty of kitchen and bathroom items. Nicely renovated. Screened porch with couches and chairs was relaxing. I really liked the string lights on the porch and dock. Felt like a nice and safe neighborhood. We caught several big brim off the dock. Cons- The house is older and had an old musty smell when we first arrived. There were no extra blankets anywhere. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Check in and out was easy. We would stay again.

Great Anniversary Getaway

We booked the house last minute for our anniversary getaway. Lovely little cottage with a great view!! We took our boat and put in at Twin Bridges (cost $5 to put in and $5 to pick up if on different days). Quick and easy trip by boat to the house. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars on cleanliness was because the back porch had a lot of cobwebs and screens were not attached at bottom. The mattress cover was pretty stained (we didn't see until we removed sheets to leave). But important stuff like kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. We would stay again.

Amazing New Year

This place was amazing. We had a group of 4 adults who were just looking to bring in the new year disconnected from our cellphones and in a peacful environment. This home gave us just that. Entertainment, beautiful views, and peaceful atmosphere. We made dinner and breakfast, sat by the firepit, fished off the dock, walked through the neighborhood, played pool, board games, and caught up on some shows. The home was extremely inviting, and had everything you needed to function in peace. We're from the city,so being able to sit outside and see the stars was one of the highlights. I would highly recommend and definitely cant wait to come back and experience the Lake House in the summer.

Fantastic!

My family of 5 stayed 5 nights the week of July 4th. We had such a great time ! The house is cozy. 3 beds, all comfortable with clean linen. There is just one bathroom with a very nice outdoor shower. We were fine with just one bathroom. The dock was great ! It has an outdoor fridge to keep your drinks cold when fishing and swimming off the dock. We swam, fish, and floated in the tubes. We also rented a jet ski and pontoon from a nearby marina. Sinclair Wild Water will deliver the boat to your dock for a small fee. That was nice ! The house has a pool table that we all enjoyed. Keep in mind that it is an older lake house that has been remodeled, very clean and cozy. We loved the screened in porch on the rainy days. Everything we could have thought of was provided as far as kitchen items. We also brought our giant fur baby, and so grateful we were able too. We will definitely stay here again !

I just cannot recommend

This was an okay rental. It was advertised as having a grill and stove. The grill did not work, of which the owner informed me of just hours before we arrived. We had planned on grilling. We always book rentals with grills. I changed dinner plans for cooking on the stove. I was informed by the owner that the stove was slow to warm up and that cooking in the crockpot would be my best option. I asked did the stove work. The owner said yes. Saying the stove was slow to warm up is an understatement. It was a gas stove, and it would not even boil water. We brought pasta instead of what we were planning to grill. After 30 minutes of just trying to boil water for tea, we gave up. We had to eat out for dinner each night. It did manage to cook eggs and bacon for breakfast. This is really unacceptable that the stove would not work properly. On top of all this, the house had a terrible musty odor on arrival. This did dissipate some. Everything else was fine. I didn't even want to leave a review because the owners were nice, and I waited a few weeks to think about it, but people need to be know if basic appliances work as intended before paying for a rental.

Wonderful weekend

Beautiful house on a great part of the lake. There was great bird watching and wonderful weather as well. The beds are comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. I recommend for a nice getaway.

Lovely Stay!

Great lake house!! I was looking for a convenient location on the lake for a weekend visit with my daughter (student in Milledgeville). We were not disappointed! Check-in/check-out was a breeze! The owner (Terri) was so wonderful and patient in answering all of my questions. We really enjoyed the layout of the house - open area for entertaining and separate area for television...and pool table, plus screened-in porch (and outside shower). The bedrooms were privately located in a little "wing" off of the main area. Kitchen was perfect, along with washer and dryer. Though we were there for a fall stay, I can also imagine LOTS of fun times for summer on the lake. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!!
