Home Truths:
- Noise from Gower Street can be heard in the home. Many careful upgrades and renovations have taken place here, however noise still travels throughout this historic location. The age of the building allows noise to travel easily between neighboring units. We do our best to mitigate disturbances and thus ask kindly to notify us immediately of any noise-related disturbances.
- Please be aware that in a large city like Los Angeles, you may encounter transient individuals outdoors.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- The washer and dryer at this property are shared.
- Please note: There is no private courtyard space. Courtyards are shared, and each unit shares one courtyard with one other unit.

Parking Details:
- No reserved parking. Street parking only.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Hollywood stay

Very spacious well equipped and comfortable. Gets noisy during the day but gets quiet at night. Very impressed with the quick response from customer service. Would definitely stay again!

I loved the space, and it was precisely as pictured/stated. Kitchen included utensils/dishes/cookware. As a non-smartphone owner, I appreciated being given the entry information before I traveled (no internet necessary once I left home). I also appreciated being given a phone number in case there was any trouble. When there was minor trouble (unusual L.A. weather and flood warning), a real person answered the phone immediately and was responsive and generous, satisfying any need I had.The only drawback would also prompt 5 stars because, while the walls were thin and the people above me were loud to me in bed, Vrbo had stated this ahead of time (I appreciated honesty!) and had provided both a sound machine and a few sets of ear plugs.
I enjoyed having plenty of space to work (and intended to use the whole floor - maybe another trip!)
Walked from rental to a special place on Yucca then to the top of the mountain where I could see the ocean and much more (10ish mi. round trip+)  My week was completely on foot except for an easy, straight-shot bus-ride-day out to UCLA.
I am standing across the street from the property (facing north, property to the east, Trader Joe's is three blocks to the west).

Great location, beautiful place, & excellent amenities

This may be the best stay I’ve had in a rental like this! Thoughtful supplies in the kitchen and bathroom made it feel like home, and a noise machine in the bedroom to help drown out city sounds was a nice touch! Place was clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing (which is rare in my experience). Laundry facilities were also a bonus. The parking situation was not great, as this is the only rental on the property without a designated space, so we ended up paying 160 to park in the lot down the street for the week. Trader Joe’s is a 6 min walk away, and the walk of fame is about an 8 minute walk. If you are looking to stay in Hollywood, this is a really great, affordable, and cozy option.

Location Location

This is just what we needed after a 15 day cruise! The bedroom was small but bed was comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, including spices coffee and teas. Bathroom was very modern. Living space was spacious with comfortable furniture. It was chilly when we were there and a throw cover would have been nice. Location was perfect, Trader Joe's in walking distance, Bus line 2 blocks away and Hollywood Walk of Fame only a block. Walked to the bus stop to catch the bus to the Griffith Observatory. Clean buses and seniors ride for 35 cents. Didn't use the laundry but it looked nice. The only negative was we recycle and could'nt find any bins. garbage was at least 85% recycled material. Would stay again if in the area.
