Overall we had a good trip it was a good location but not very clean unfortunately. Kids feet got black walking around with no shoes as soon as we got there. Carpeted stairs going up to second floor were sooo dirty. Shower curtains were just rigged up. Freezer was super rusty. Outside porch and stairs was very dirty. On the plus side Beds were comfortable but Would not stay there again.

The place reeked of cigarette smoke the entire time we were there. Other than the smell the place was ok.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were uncomfortable during your stay. We do want to clarify that the home is strictly a non-smoking property, and when the issue was reported, our team did communicate with you and offered assistance. Unfortunately, smoke odors can sometimes linger from prior guests despite standard cleaning and inspection procedures, and we rely on guest communication to address them as quickly as possible when they are noticed. Had we been given the opportunity during your stay, we would have been happy to take additional steps to mitigate the issue or explore alternative solutions at that time. We regret that you felt this concern was not addressed to your satisfaction. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that, aside from this issue, the home otherwise met your needs. Your comments help us continue to improve our processes for future guests.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and quiet with plenty of room for our family to spread out. It would be nice to have extra key cards for the gate as we traveled in separate cars.. We enjoyed walks by the lake.

The property was absolutely worth it considering the affordability. It was a bit hot upstairs and in every room with high ceilings (which is the majority of the unit) since heat rises. There are zero cleaning products provided with the exception of dish soap, laundry tabs, and dishwasher pods. Know this going in, Bring surface spray and sponges because there aren't any, (there was a weird, enclosed scrub brush under the kitchen sink and it was for running spatulas and the like through it. I had to borrow the provided makeup wash cloth and a sink of soapy water to clean the counters and stove after cooking. Also, we had to go and purchase the correct kurig pod for filling your own coffee since the 2 there didn't even fit. Granted, we had 5 adults, there is a regular coffee pot, however. I think it's great that they do all of the cleaning, but if you're there for multiple days, some of you, like us, like to tidy up after yourselves. The host is very responsive if you have any questions. This is a major plus and they continue to check on you, I would book this place again, knowing what I know now, You really can't beat the price!

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing such detailed feedback. We’re glad you felt the property offered great value, enjoyed the affordability, and found our team responsive throughout your stay. We appreciate your honest notes about the upstairs temperature and the limited cleaning supplies. Our rentals provide starter supplies rather than a full set of household cleaning products, but we understand that guests staying several days may want additional items to tidy up along the way. We’ll also take a closer look at the coffee pod setup so the options provided are clear and convenient. We’re glad you’d consider staying again, and we appreciate the helpful feedback!

We very much enjoyed staying here. The place was clean and had some supplies that we weren't expecting such as box fans. That was a bonus because we had forgot our travel fan. The location was perfect as well. The loft room does not have a tv which we did not know until last minute. We were expecting every room to have one. We would absolutely stay at this location again. Thank you for having us!
