Quartz Creek Retreat

New for us September 2024! Quartz Creek Retreat is perfect for everyone seeking a genuine Colorado escape, with a running stream out back. Located 17 miles east of adorable Gunnison we are perfectly situated for access to amenities, yet remote enough to experience the wildlife.
With space for all your entire extended family - host a gathering for all! Nearby access to skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and four-wheeling. Blue Mesa Reservoir, Crested Butte Ski Resort, Monarch Ski Resort, Pitkin (oldest western slope town)
The space
Every room is spacious and the house offers many community spaces for gathering and interaction. With function in mind, each bedroom has it's own sink and vanity with 2 main master bedrooms, each with their own master bathroom. (All bedrooms on the second floor.) There is an active river (creek) running on the property, so leave your sound machine at home, and open the windows! Don't worry about no AC! Open the windows at night and let nature keep you cool and lull you to sleep. Remember you're in the mountains.... (With that in mind, bring bug spray! This is the wild, but we do have screens on the windows so no worries inside.)
Other things to note
Closest trails for all your recreation vehicles are a short trailer ride about 1 mile away. Plenty of parking area at the house for trailers and multiple vehicles. You cannot access trails from the house, sorry.
