The blueprint for this exquisite remodel is nothing short of genius - a delicate dance between honoring the building's 150-year-old legacy and infusing it with fresh, contemporary flair. Each nook and cranny proudly showcases its time-honored roots, from exposed brick walls to trusses and beams. But rest assured, The 1865 isn't stuck in the past! This vibrant fusion of old-world allure and new-age chic melds sumptuous vintage with sleek modernity, culminating in a dreamy, boutique experience.
This unique unit is located in the building’s basement level, providing a level of privacy and seclusion that will allow guests to enjoy the deepest possible rest. Because of its lower-level location, this unit features exposed stone walls that are the very foundation of the building. The rich stone detail is an aesthetic delight, and also a grounding feature that creates unmatched coziness. Not to mention, staying in the foundation of this building further enriches the experience of staying on a property that is foundational to the history of Nashville. Thoughtfully placed lighting creates a soft and restful mood, while the unit’s expert design offers an open-concept main living area to maximize quality time amongst guests. This home sleeps 4 guests between 1 private bedroom and a bonus room. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and boasts the same unique character found throughout the home. The bonus room, furnished with a queen size pull-out bed, can serve as extra sleeping space or additional living space. Either way, its vibrant artwork and high-end furnishings make it a desirable room for guests to enjoy.
THINGS TO NOTE:
Guests have access to an in-house speakeasy in the condo complex.
The home has 1 bathroom with walk-in shower.

The construction for the speakeasy will commence on 12/07/2023 and is expected to be completed within seven weeks, completion to be due in March of 2024. During this period, there may be some associated noise and increased activity in the basement area. We want to assure you that every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience.
The team is working closely with the contractors and owners of the speakeasy to ensure that construction hours are limited to business hours, primarily during weekdays, to mitigate disturbances. Additionally, all necessary measures will be taken to maintain the security and cleanliness of common areas throughout the construction process.
The 1865 is an amenity building that offers an intimate bar, plunge pool, and private lobby. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared space as desired. The property is located between the 28th Avenue connector to the West End and Marathon Village, which grants you easy access to all of Nashville’s most popular landmarks. There are several cafes, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues within walking distance or a short drive. With a stay here, Nashville and its history are at your fingertips.
Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $100.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested.
