We had a wonderful time. The bungalow was immaculate. We loved sitting on the deck and gazing at the stars. John was very attentive with all my ridiculous questions and got us back in the bunglow quick when I managed to get us locked out.

Very peaceful place with nice deck and BBQ. Bed and mattress was excellent for sleeping.

It was a very pleasant stay in a heavenly setting. Perfect bed, as well as the other components. An ideal place for bike rides, on foot, in cars... followed by a nice glass of wine on our super terrace! WOW!

The property itself was clean, well maintained, and had a gorgeous view. There were also thoughtful touches we appreciated, including nice soaps, snacks, paper towel, dish soap, some spices, cookware, media options, and a desk area. Our initial interactions with the hosts were kind. However, the bed was a very hard spring mattress and extremely uncomfortable.More concerning, we had two unsettling drone encounters on different days. The drone appeared to come from the host’s porch/driveway area, and when I reacted to it, visibly shocked and uncomfortable, it descended behind the hedge separating the properties. The second encounter happened around 10:30 a.m. while we were packing the car for our 11:00 a.m. checkout. It appeared again from the same area and seemed to be watching us as we left, which made it feel as though our checkout was being monitored. Both encounters happened so suddenly that we were unable to record them before the drone disappeared behind the hedge on the host’s side.This felt invasive, especially because privacy was extremely important to us during this stay. We were in town to visit family after a serious stroke at the local hospital and had made that need for privacy clear before booking. For these reasons, I am giving 2 stars.

We were surprised to read this review. This is the first time we have heard any allegation regarding drones. During your stay, no concerns about drones were reported to us, despite the fact that we live next door and were readily available. No report was made to local authorities, and no evidence was provided. Neither we nor anyone in our household operates drones over the rental property. Unfortunately, during your stay, our security cameras recorded smoking on the property, which is a clear violation of our posted house rules and strict no-smoking policy. After consulting with Vrbo support, we were advised that we had grounds to terminate the reservation and require you to leave immediately. We chose not to do so and instead allowed you to complete your stay. We were also disappointed with the condition in which the property was left. Excessive cleaning was required due to stains, dirt, garbage, and failure to follow the checkout procedures provided to all guests. We take pride in maintaining a highly rated property and have consistently received five-star reviews from our guests. Based on this experience, we would not host this guest again.

A little gem. Comfortable, very clean, and tastefully furnished cottage, set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, with a water view. We appreciated the interesting/quirky art and artifacts throughout the house. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, it was a short walk to Mille Roche beach, which (at this time of year) was deserted. Fantastic weather made for a perfect, short, Fall get-away. We would highly recommend it.

Our week at Seaside Bungalow was absolutely perfect. The cottage, along with its thoughtful and gracious hosts, left us wanting for nothing. We spent hours on the peaceful deck, soaking in the serene lake views and grilling feasts on the large BBQ. Inside, the fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high-quality linens and towels made it a lux stay. Every detail felt intentionally and lovingly curated.The overall vibe is fresh, coastal and quiet. A true escape. Honestly, the only thing we’d change is the couch. But then again, if it were any comfier, we might never have left.Highly, highly recommended.

Jeff and Tessa are amazing hosts. This little piece of heaven feels like home the second you walk through the door. You can’t help but take a deep breathe and release. You want for nothing as they have thought of pretty near everything. Sitting on the back deck watching the birds, squirrels and even bunnies surrounded by trees with a cup of tea in the morning or an ice cold drink in the evening over looking the water was the best start and end to every day. The interior has a classic yet rustic feel. Super clean, plush towels and fluffy bedding. I cannot recommend this vacation enough. We are already looking to book next year. You will not be disappointed.
