Sud Dease Lake - Cottage

Sud Dease Cottage est situé sur South Dease Lake qui est à 5 miles à l'ouest de Hale. Ce non-fumeur, 2 chambres 1. 5 chalet de bain comprend une cuisine complète, une laverie, salle à manger, salon avec canapé-lit. Facilement dort 6 personnes. Wifi.

Regarder le coucher de soleil depuis un porche couvert avant de descendre dans la fosse d'incendie pour profiter d'un feu de joie.

Une rampe de lancement est de 300 pieds de distance. Profitez de la pêche, le ski nautique, le kayak, etc sur le lac privé de tous les sports.

East Tawas est de 30 miles à l'est. Profitez des plages fantastiques à Tawas Point State Park.

West Branch est de 30 miles à l'ouest. Profitez de centre commercial de sortie, golf au rêve / cauchemar ou des repas gastronomiques au Willow.

Le monument de bûcheron est de 15 miles au nord sur la M65. Amusez-vous courir dans les dunes de sable dans la rivière Ausable. Voir la photo avec mon inscription.

Beautiful and Peaceful

My Dad and 2 brothers and I stayed for a few days and had a great time. The place was as advertised with plenty of space and a beautiful view of the canal. Jim and his wife were very inviting and accomodating and we will definitely be staying again. Highly recommend.

Relaxing

Clean cottage on canal. Quiet area to kick back and relax. Owner Jim was very friendly and accommodating. This will be on our return list.

Quiet and relaxing

Two weeks of peace and quiet. Scenic area with various points of interest nearby. Adequate shopping and services in the area. Host was very attentive and responsive to our needs. Great spot to bring your boat, kayaks and water toys. Good lake for fishing and all water activities.

South Dease Lake

The property was very clean, and has everything that was needed. It was nice and quiet with the view of the canal from the dining area, there is a back porch and yard for sitting and enjoying or children playing. The host Jim and his wife Jan were very nice

Perfect week!

We'd stayed a few years ago and everything was great with the exception of the weather. This time the weather AND the fishing were awesome. The cottage was perfect for our needs and Jim made sure everything went smoothly. Thanks!

Peaceful and convenient stay

We enjoyed a weekend trip to this area and experienced this wonderful rental and very thoughtful hosts. The home is exactly as described and one of the cleanest rentals we have seen. The host has taken great care to provide a fully-appointed home and are available should you have any questions or should any needs arise. The 2 bedrooms are across from each other along with the full bath. The beds are very comfortable an lean soft as far as firmness. There are linens and towels available along with nightlights. We took advantage of the box fans to circulate air at night, which made for very comfortable sleeping. As the home is in the shade, it stayed very cool despite the 89 degree day. The wifi was wonderful, as we do not get good cell service in this area. You have the ability to stream your own accounts on the tv, too. The kitchen has everything you could need, including a keurig and a drip coffee maker. There is also a half bath off the laundry room, where you have washer and dryer. We cannot say enough about how kind and thoughtful the hosts are. While we didn’t take advantage of the water or the hosts’ generous invitation to use their canoe/kayaks (we had family staying on another nearby lake), you are right on the canal that feeds into South Dease Lake. The peace and serenity of this property and location can’t be beat.

Fantastic week of relaxing and fishing

The cabin was more than expected. Jim and Jan are great hosts. The location is picturesque and quiet. The cabin is well furnished and the beds make for a great nights sleep. Wildlife is abundant with a bonus of 2 Bald Eagles seen along the shoreline. We caught a variety of fish and some days we were the only boat on the lake. Looking forward to another stay in the near future. Thank you Jim and Jan for a wonderful week.

Very quiet area

Just what we wanted, a quiet get away. This lake, at least when we stayed, had hardly anyone on it. Which is just what we wanted due to having dogs that go crazy at everything! The owner, Jim, was great. Very nice guy.

Fun for everyone

Renting was fine, the master bed has seen better days. It was fine for 1 person so we ended up purchasing an airmattress. Its the small things…renting for 6, dinner chairs for only 5. The hosts are great people just a few details need to be paid attention to. Would we rent again? Absolutely! The lake is great and its close to orv trails.

Great experience!

Jim is a great host! He greeted us on our arrival and showed us around the property, which is exactly as described in the listing and in addition, there is a fire pit in the backyard by the creek. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth. We had a pleasant and relaxed stay while visiting couple of nearby places. Jim offered us to use his canoes as well!

Relaxing getaway

Had a wonderful getaway with my daughter. Loved being able to bring our dog with. Jim was an excellent host. The location was quiet with a lot of hiking and kayaking areas nearby, which we enjoyed! Even on the rainy days it was still fun to hike then relax inside. The only thing I would note was that although there is a washer and dryer the hard water precluded us from doing laundry- but I did not mind waiting until done with vacation:). Thank you Jim for everything!

Could've used more fishing time...great lake!

Was really a great week. We came to fish but also see the sites. We were shut out by rain a few days but overall the fishing was good. The cabin and hosts were great, as described by others. Overall, it was just what we needed. Thanks, again!
