Bring your large group to enjoy the great outdoors in our Barndominium! The barndo has 8BRs with the loft studio suite that will sleep up to 25! It has a gated entrance that offers privacy and security for our guests. Situated about 23 min from KCI, 7 min to Liberty, 25 min to Chiefs/Royals stadiums, & 30 min to downtown KC.

BARNDO DESCRIPTION:
The entire barndo sleeps 25 max with 8 bedrooms (including the loft studio suite), 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and 2 living areas. The main level has a large gathering space (approx. 850 sq ft) with a kitchen, dining area, and a 70" smart Vizio TV. The laundry is in the loft studio suite's bath. The main living room connects to 4 BRs/2 baths on the north side and 3 BRs on the south side. The loft has an upper deck with stairs to the fenced backyard. Access is via a gated entrance with a unique 4-digit code. Plenty of parking on the North, West, & South sides.

This is an excellent accommodation for a large gathering. Everything was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for activities and visiting.

We had a ladie's weekend and this was a clean, quiet, peaceful stay. We had planty of space for everyone to sleep and a great gathering space in the dining area. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked a few meals. The land was beautiful, we took some walks. The firepit was just right for a chilly night. We would highly recommend this Barndo!

Family Wedding in Excelsior Springs

Our children and grandchildren stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. The accommodations were perfect for our big group. We would ove to come back again.

Great place. Clean and orderly. Great for sightseeing in Liberty and Independence. Owner was very good to work with. We wished there had been more bathrooms on the main floor. The bedroom to bathroom ratio wasn't good.

Our flock of 20 guests found this barndo to be an absolute haven! The home was as clean as a freshly mucked stall, beautifully decorated, and stocked to the rafters with towels and plates. With plenty of roosting spots, it offered the perfect balance—tons of space to gather as a herd and plenty of rooms to graze in private when needed. The independent temperature control in every room was a breath of fresh country air, and the soundproofing was so good, not a peep carried across the house. The loft was a great hideaway for the little ones.Outside, we had an absolute barnstormer of a time—grilling, gathering ‘round the fire pit, and playing games with the whole crew. There were only two smaller sofas in the main living space, which made corralling all the guests a bit tricky for evening lounging. Still, we managed, thanks to a cozy rug that made the space feel warm as a hayloft.The lack of a dishwasher was the biggest hitch in our wagon ride. For a home stocked to the gills with dishes and built for large groups, wrangling the dirty dishes over multiple days felt like shoveling hay nonstop. While the host graciously allowed guests to leave dirty dishes for cleanup, the sheer volume became a tough row to hoe by the end of the long weekend.Speaking of the host—quick as a farmhand, they were responsive to our couple of minor questions and needs. All in all, our stay was as easy as rolling in the hay—an udder delight! We’d hoof it back in a heartbeat.

We lived and raised our kids on our property for about 7 years. Some of the main features we loved about it was it's outdoor space it provided on acreage to do activities outside and the privacy we had with a gated entrance. Watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee from our screened-in front porch was our favorite. It brings us joy now to see others enjoy the things we enjoyed for years.
