Unité de 3 chambres sur la propriété en bord de mer avec coin patio désigné en bord de mer, grill électrique, table de pique-nique, cuisine entièrement équipée, câble numérique, WIFI, à distance de marche de tous les divertissements, duplex (côte à côte chaque unité a 3 chambres), à quelques pas de la plage, unité du propriétaire à côté pour toutes les demandes ou problèmes. Ces unités sont spacieuses et meublées avec tous les besoins de votre maison, sauf que vous devrez apporter vos propres serviettes, draps, couvertures, oreillers et produits en papier. La propriété en bord de mer a ce duplex avec la maison d'été du propriétaire, la maison du propriétaire se trouve en face du duplex mais le duplex a une vue sur le lac. Ambiance familiale et conviviale.

We had a wonderful time, and the condo was perfect for our needs. It was very close to everything and a nice set up for a family with a toddler. The host was very responsive to our needs, and it was very family friendly. The sunsets here are to die for! Thank you for a great day!

Definitely enjoyed our stay. Easy access to the beach. Nice to have outdoor space to use along with the great indoor space. Very clean and having air conditioning was a definite plus.

Relaxing Getaway

Third year coming back to this property. This year my son and family rented one side and my daughter, husband, myself and my husband rented the other side. Beautiful spot for a family getaway just steps from the beach. Sunsets are amazing and shallow water and beach great for the kids. Looking forward to next year.

Delightful stay in Sylvan Beach

Being close to the beach was important to me and this is exactly what we got. House was clean and it's location was superb. We ended up staying an additional night and property owners were very cooperative in making this possible. We had beautiful weather and the beach was not overcrowded. We just loved it here. Special Thanks to our Hosts for making this possible.

Fun getaway

Cute little place to stay for a few nights. Very clean. Right by the beach. Grill and stove definitely need to be updated, but worked well enough. Everyone had a great time and we all agree that we would go back.

Get-away with The Grands

It was our 2nd year & didn't disappoint. Parking was a little difficult because it was a weekend & tourist filled our spots, but around dusk we had our spot available. Location is great, within walking distant to food, beach & entertainment. Planning year 3!

This place is all you need

We stay here annually and it’s fantastic. You have beach access, convenient parking, and can walk everywhere. Park the car Friday and don’t move it until Sunday when we leave. The host is very accommodating and provides anything you may need. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy sylvan beach or the surrounding areas.

Great stay on beautiful Oneida!

We loved staying at this cottage and I got to watch the sunset with a glass of wine and a good book! We were in town for a family event and had to bring our dog. Staying here was definitely a good choice as everyone near the property were super friendly and the lake was gorgeous! There was also a perfect dog friendly park right across the street! We got super lucky with nice weather in October! I’d love to come back in the summer when the town is bustling and the coffee shack right next door is open! I highly recommend this lake cottage even in the off season. Thank you so much to the owners for having us!

Great place for our small family

You can walk out the door barefoot and head straight onto the beach! Huge expanse of shallow water and and small waves on windy days were perfect for my kids. The house is simple, but suited our needs perfectly. My only small gripe is despite bringing our towels, sheets, and blankets - we were also missing things like dish towels, a bathmat, and a hand towel for the bathroom. A quick trip to Dollar General fixed that problem. Knowing that for next time, we would certainly come back!

Hello. As a rule it does have a bath mat, it may have been being replaced and unfortunately the team did not have a spare in time for your rental. We do not provide any towels of any sort, but it may be a good idea to make that more clear in our ad. Also, there is an option for the linen package which supplies all of the above. Hope you come again!

Great location for beach / walking

Prime location for walking to restaurants and beach access! Host was very responsive to my questions and let us check-in a little early. Inside looked just like the photos. When they say no paper or cleaning products they mean it - no hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels. There was TP but no refill so I left the one I brought for the next guests. Stairs to the upstairs are narrow and would not be great for anyone with a mobility issue. The floors were swept but had not been mopped in a while. Would stay again for a friendcation but not with my children, you could hear every drunk conversation happening outside. Recommend bringing socks/slippers.

Thank you for your review. We can assure you that the floors are mopped before each check in, but I will let my cleaner know you felt like it was not up to par. Being on the beach the sand will always dust up the floors from just opening the doors for moments. We do leave a mop and bucket so you can continue to refresh that. As far as paper products we do make that clear we do not provide these in the listing. With the turnover in number of rentals and people going through so much or taking supplies it became too difficult and too costly. We could supply these things at an increased rate or fee upon request. And I am sorry there was noise disturbance as we are on the main drag, which is very convenient but at times it is much noisier than others. Thanks again for staying with us.

Great location

Great location. Never moved our vehicle in the three day we were there. Walked to everything. Cottage was older but quite clean. Upstairs bedrooms/bathroom have NO air or fan in bathroom. No cleaning products left for us, no pot holders, sponges or dish soaps. We had to shop for a few items when we got there. No interaction with property owners whatsoever. We cleaned the oven as it was left pretty yucky from the previous rentals. Lamps throughout did not work. Maybe just burned out bulbs. Night light in bathroom did not work. No lock on screen door to the main road. All in all, a great family vacation with our adults boys. Great location. Cute old cottage with access to beach. We left it almost as clean as we found it. Nothing was left to mop the floor with.

Glad to hear you enjoyed and sorry about some of your issues. September is a tricky month as a lot has been used and turned over with a full season of rentals. I will make sure the cleaner checks all bulbs. As far as the air it should be working upstairs I will have to have someone check on that. We do not offer any cleaning products including sponges or cloths as they just get thrown out or taken too frequently. Pot holders must have been thrown away which I will make sure are replaced. If you do choose to stay again please feel free to reach out with any of those issues and we would have certainly corrected anything we could during your stay. We also just purchased a new stove for this unit and will be making some kitchen and bath upgrades this winter. Thanks again!

Not a dull moment

Had to read the fine print to comprehend the stay would not be in a beach house but in part of the duplex on the property behind the beach house. It was good because it was still on the beach and we had access to a table and area on the property steps from the beach. Owners were not there and took about a day to get the PM's name and confirm he is legitimate. We had issues with security of the house we stayed in. Children around the property informed me they know our passcode to get into my place and there were random people that tried to get into the house while I stayed there. Was a bit better once the PM fixed the lock on the door at the street. We retired each night with chairs propped against the door for our added security. The people that stayed in the other part of the duplex with us were friendly. The description of what is t is provided and what we needed to bring is very clear and worked out quite well. Check out consisted of just cleaning out our items and we put our parking passes back on their hooks. Hopefully all is well and check out w as s completed correctly.

Hello. I am very sorry to hear you had any issues. We have been renting this out for over 40 years and this is our first ever safety complaint. The main owners were out of town for medical reason, but usually are there to ensure everything is okay or fix what needs fixing. We have inspected all locks and made adjustments where necessary. We also have a security system on the grounds that will ensure safety and no trespassing. Again, we apologize you had any issues and hope this is our last time hearing this news.

My kids loved it (15,14,10). The neighborhood was very blue collar. Safe (one annoying meth head in the park who asks for money). My kids walked around with no issues. We were there for seven nights and we’d stay there again. Pros: You literally walk out a walkway and you’re in the sand. There’s an enclosed area to grill and chill. Also a designated table overlooking the beach with a private beach entrance literally into the sand. There is a dog friendly walking area across the street. Follow the sidewalk and it leads to the playground and the amusement park which is only open weekends. Arcade cash only. Cons (more like pointers): Not private at all. The houses are all on top of each other and the back of the house is ten feet from the landlord. You can see into each other’s properties while you do the dishes. The permanent neighbor is 420 friendly and our unit filled up with stench on several occasions. The rental comes with beds, dressers, a shower curtain, pots, and dishes. There was nothing more. You have to bring your own soaps and toilet paper and paper towels, and a sponge to do the dishes and there was no dish drying rack, which was a pain. Bring towels and pillows and blankets and a towel for the kitchen. No laundry on site was a BIG BUMMER for our week-long stay. There’s a laundromat a few blocks away, but it’s not walkable with a basket! Also it’s five to wash and dry but you need couple extra quarters dryer to get anywhere near dry. Open 7a-5p on 15th
