There is a code you will be given before you check in that will allow you to enter inside the home. There is an electric fence on the doors to the home and you are able to turn it off very easily. This is to keep the Bears out. There is parking in the driveway as well as on a single parking pad to the right of the cabin .
***During winter months - the lower level will be used for ski lease family***
Deana is your host and is readily available at all times.
PLEASE NOTE: while the house does have a permit for 11 people- there are only 8 beds.
âąBedroom 1: one double bed, 2nd floor.
âąBedroom 2: one twin over twin with pullout (sleep 3), 3rd floor
âąBedroom 3: one double bed + two twins, 3rd floor ( w/ balcony. )
âąBedroom 4: one double bed, 3rd floor.
This is a multi level property. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd level and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 3rd level. There is a 1 bedroom / bath with living area lock off on the 1st floor. Please reach out to Deana to find out more if you would like to use for staff quarters or another bedroom. Need at least a month notice to reserve.
PARKING
âąStandard Parking: A maximum of 3 vehicles are allowed.
âąWinter/Snow Season Parking: A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed
There are exterior cameras on the large deck where the hot tub is visible. No cameras are inside.
There is electrical bear prevention on the front door.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Maximum occupancy is up to the number of guests in the reservation.
NOISE ORDINANCE -
QUIET HOURS BEGIN AT 9pm
*MUST BE BEAR AWARE*
âą only use the bear box on the property for all garbage
âą no food left in cars.
âą keep doors locked to home and vehicles
âą do not leave windows open or unlocked
âą do not leave food outside
âą do not feed the bears

NO FIRES ALLOWED!
Bonfire; fire pits, charcoal BBQ - ARE NOT ALLOWED. Itâs too big of a fire risk.
Please use the Gas Propane BBQ if provided. Guests are responsible for filling propane tank if empty
If you are traveling in the -
WINTER:
You will need to make sure that you are equipped to drive up safely (Chains or AWD) - not to just get over the pass to have around the Basin. Be sure to travel with emergency first aid, plenty of water and food, blankets, snow shovel, and flash lights. If there is a snow storm, be mindful of possibly having to stay an extra day or arrive a day late per roads being closed. There will be no compensation for power and internet outages per being a result of an uncontrollable situation for the host to rectify. Ask me for weather updates and road news before traveling up. Guests are responsible for shoveling decks and stairs.
SUMMER
If you are traveling in non snow months - download the all trails app on your mobile for all the fun trails around you! Make sure to reserve SandHarbor as soon as you know your dates (it fills up quick), and no open fires on the property are allowed, period.
