Great romantic little getaway

Perfect for two people, rates were very reasonable and in the artist community off e parkway.. away from the madness but only 10 minutes to the main Gatlinburg strip and 10 minutes away from entrances to the smokey mountain park. We loved it and very convenient to everything.

Our heart shaped whirlpool tub for 2 is huge and requires an very large pump to move and energize all those gallons and gallons of water. I apologize for the sound. I find my time in the tub is so incredibly relaxing with all those bubbles!

We Loved It

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. This particular cabin was very private on the back deck, which happened to be our favorite part. It was set up so nice with the outdoor sofa, fireplace, tv and hot tub! We spent a lot of our down time out there. During the times when we wanted to go into Gatlinburg, the commute was beautiful, yet quick. We definitely hope to stay at this cabin again!

AMAZING

The cabin was absolutely perfect in every way! Private, clean, close to town but still felt like we were far from civilization. The staff we interacted with were super friendly. The deck and hot hub were amazing I spent hours just staring into the trees, watching birds, or looking at the stars! Highly recommend!

50th Anniversary

Great place! It was everything I imagined it would be and more. I had ordered the Anniversary package with balloons 🎈and rose petals. The look on my wife’s face when I opened the door was priceless. Everything was as advertised, and we had a great time!

Romantic getaway

My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time staying at Honeymoon Hills! The pictures don’t do the cabin justice. We stayed in the First Love cabin. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor seating with the tv. After our long day, we would cuddle up on the couch and watch tv and drink some beers. I love the location and how close we were to everything in Gatlinburg and it was a short drive to pigeon forge. You’ll love this place, I guarantee it!!

Last minute getaway

It was an adorable cabin, away from the noise of the towns, which was what we were looking for. My only complaint is it wasn't very clean, mainly the bathroom, cobwebs everywhere and baseboards very dusty but it could have been empty for a while. This particular cabin was dated, I did see some of their other cabins that looked newer and were more up to date and we would come back and stay in one of those. Check in and check out were a breeze. Hot tub was great. Just a very peaceful, relaxing visit.

Quiet and peaceful

My husband and I rented the cabin for two days and to be honest it was a cute place but out dated and need to deep cleaning. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. Spiders on the front porch was the first thing I saw when we arrived. The front desk stated someone came in and changed remote and or batteries from the deck tv then the bedroom tv stopped working. They did have everything as listed the jacuzzi was the best

I’m so sorry to read this! Our management office is a short walk from the cabin. They are super friendly, accommodating and would have immediately sent their head housekeeper as well when they changed the batteries on your remote to attend to anything for you, had they known. We strive to provide an extremely clean and comfortable environment, and I’m disappointed to learn that we fell short in your case. Our decor is exactly as pictured in the listing! We always recommend people look at our photos before they reserve to make sure the decor is pleasing to them. While our decorator had sample pallets of the contemporary white, beige and gray hospital waiting room look, she recommended we customize and go with a comfortable, cozy, more welcoming Smoky Mountain theme with a romantic flair. We get so many compliments on the decor but we are so sorry our decor missed the mark for you all!

Weekend away from our busy family life and the city's noise.

Definitely a weekend trip that I'll never forget. I've been all around the world on vacations and I have been to Gatlinburg every year since 2002 and this resort has most definitely ranked #1 out of the rest I've stayed at. Booking was a breeze with checking in. Cabin was super clean and very cozy for our romantic welcoming. Everything in cabin operated as it should and the covered deck with the hot tub was a huge bonus and the scenery was out of sight. The greatest part was the peace and quiet. Did not here anything except the birds chirping, wind blowing through the tree tops and the light trickling of a nearby creek flowing. When looking for a place to stay and get your money's worth! I recommend anyone checking this place out. You wont be anything but happy when you depart. 100% 5star all around. Terry &Jody

The hot tub didnt work I reported they didnt do nothing about it

I wasted 650.00 because main reason I rented a cabin was for hot tub couldnt use it was bc the heater wasnt warming it was only 75 too vold we were on our honeymoon and all I called 5 times no one ever got back so I left day early

Oh me...I remember you because we physically spoke (in person) Saturday morning after your arrival late Friday night! I would have been more than happy to have helped you anything at anytime during your visit. I certainly would have physically shown you how to turn on your hot tub, had I known you didn't know how to operate the hot tub! You simply needed to hit the big button, it works perfectly! We did find several pre-arrival phone calls from you. The call logs show all your pre-arrival phone calls were in fact answered and lasted several minutes. I did find that you answered my text message on Saturday morning. My text message said: 'are you enjoying your visit and do you need anything'. Your answer - 'Yes thanks so much we are doing great' This was on Saturday at 12:04 pm after having arrived late Friday night. We found no voice messages or phone calls from you in the call logs after your arrival. We found many text messages and phone calls after you had departed requesting we give you a full refund. While we would have been happy to help you while you were here had we known you needed us, VRBO doesn't issue full refund after your trip is over.

Dirty, needs maintenance- won’t return

We are sad to say that our trip was not as good as it could have been due to the dirty cabin and stupid rules. When you stay as a guest you should not be required to wash dishes and put them away nor should you be transporting garbage in your own vehicle to the company dumpster on the side of a hill. Who wants to use a glass or fork that was supposedly washed by the previous guest anyway? The bathroom was disgusting with feces all over the toilet bowl and there was thick dust and huge cobwebs all over the walls and ceiling of the cabin. When I informed the general manager of Honeymoon Hills, NOTHING was done. When asked why we paid a cleaning fee for an unclean cabin the response was “I’ll meet you there next time to make sure things are in order.” The cleaning company should do that, I don’t want to be met at my cabin because your quality control is not in place, and there simply won’t be a next time. Save your money or find a more reputable rental company. Don’t even get me started on the over 25 flies we killed that were in the place when we got there. Disgusting.

Goodness! We are so sorry you didn't enjoy our cabin. I contacted the general manager at the rental company who reviewed the telephone call logs, text messages and emails to find no correspondence from you all during your visit. They advised you all stayed the week without a peep, then two days after you left wanted money back. Just a reminder, the rental company is on call for guests 24/7 to attend to any issue if folks make them aware while they are occupying the property.

Nice place, poor customer service

My wife and I stayed in this cabin to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Our stay was scheduled for four days and three nights. When we arrived, we noticed there was poor water pressure, but didn't think too much of it as we were focused on celebrating our anniversary together. Over the next couple of days, the water pressure did not improve and on our third night there was barely enough water to brush our teeth with. We reached out to the Honeymoon Hills after hours staff and they said they would report the problem. When we checked out the next morning, we discovered that they had known about the problem for at least 2-3 days, but no one ever bothered to let us know that there was an underground water leak - apparently since the afternoon that we checked in. When we checked out, I let the office manager know that we would not be leaving until we had some sort of reimbursement. At that point, he called his boss (the owner who doesn't live in Tennessee) and asked about a reimbursement. She tried to talk us into a certificate that could be used on a future stay. I declined and said that we needed a financial reimbursement, especially since our stay cost us a large amount of money. She finally agreed and credited us one night's stay, but the average cost of our stay was still higher than normal, and I don't feel like what we got was worth the price we paid. The summarize my experience, I think this is a nice place. I think you'll be satisfied with your property. But, during our stay there were amenities we could not use, such as the heart-shaped tub, because the water pressure was so bad. When I tried to get the issue resolved, I found the customer service to be lacking, and honestly I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that the owner is out of town. A couple more things - this company will place a $200 hold on your credit card for damages that will not disappear until about a week after your stay. I had to call my credit card company and have their hold manually removed myself. Also, my reimbursement didn't appear on my account until about a week after my stay. The internet in our cabin was intermittent, so you'll probably need to rely on your own data for internet use. This place has great potential, but the customer service needs a serious upgrade. They also need to get rid of the automated answering service because it is very difficult to find a human to talk to during office hours.

We're happy you liked our cabin! I so sorry, but don't understand your 'poor customer service' comment. We were very upset about your poor customer service comment about our rental company and voiced your concerns with them. Our rental company showed us in writing that you reported 'low water pressure' after hours on the last night of your stay at 9:13 pm and were answered by a person in less than 10 minutes. This was the first call in their logs from you since your arrival. The day of your departure, the answering service logged a call from you at 8:27 am eastern asking what time the rental office would open. The answering service advised the rental office would open at 9:00 am. The rental office advised you were at the office when they opened at 9:00 am and they took care of you. The only route to our cabin is to drive past the rental company's office with a full staff going to or from our cabin. I don't understand why you didn't just stop by in person during your stay if you had any issue. There were maintenance crews working across the road from our cabin during your stay. You could have mentioned your issue to any one of them and they would have helped you as well! Our rental company shared with me that you all had personal contact with our staff during your in-room massages the second day of your stay. They said you did not report a water issue to either of the massage therapists. With the rental company's massage therapists right there with you in our cabin, that would have been the perfect time to let somebody know you had an issue! We would have been more than happy to have helped you. The rental company stated there were cabins in the vicinity of ours with low water pressure. When no one heard from you all during your stay, we had no way to know our cabin was effected. I wish you would have made us or our rental management company aware you had an issue as we would have been more than happy to get you moved to a different cabin!

Cabin fun!

The cabin was perfect for us. Very clean and cute, I loved the special touches like the swan shaped towels on the bed, so cute. We loved the deck and hot tub outside and really enjoyed the option to have the jacuzzi inside as well. We we’re close to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to friends!

Very nice cabin. It did always smell very musty though. Bed was very comfortable. Hot tub had trouble maintaining a decent temp. Maybe the thermal pickup isnt working correctly. Loved the area. Beautiful setting.

Enjoyed my stay

The only thing we had trouble with was finding the cabin when we first got there. It took us the complete opposite way but we eventually finding it by the name. Other than that the cabin was absolutely wonderful. We absolutely enjoyed every bit of our stay!

20th wedding anniversary trip.

The cabin was very clean and the check in process was super simple. Very quiet and secluded location. Easy drive to nearby attractions. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of exploring. If you want quiet and secluded this is a great property

Perfect couple getaway

This place was perfect for a long weekend away with my husband to celebrate my birthday. The only complaint we had was that tickets to the aquarium were listed as one of the attractions to choose from but when we went to book it we were told that ended last year. The owner tried to make it right by offering an additional ticket. The greater was appreciated but of no use since there was nothing else we wanted to do. However I’m regards to the cabin itself, it was perfect! We loved every moment of our stay and hope to come back in the future.

To be expected

The property was exactly what was advertised. The manager did fix an issue with the hot tub for us to use it. But it was a good experience for our first time doing this instead of a hotel

Everything was just as viewed online, neat and orderly.

The keyless entry/check in was perfect. There should be a later check out, maybe 11 or 11:30.
