Bienvenue au "Grand Slam Haus I Pocono Pines". Maison au bord du lac immaculĂ©e avec une propriĂ©tĂ© paysagĂ©e professionnellement nichĂ© dans le club de renommĂ©e mondiale du lac Naomi. DĂ©couvrez des vacances au bord du lac et de nombreux Ă©quipements. Profitez d'une vue imprenable sur le lac depuis presque toutes les piĂšces avec des murs de fenĂȘtres et un design contemporain ouvert. Grande chambre a une cheminĂ©e en pierre du sol au plafond avec des curseurs sur le pont et une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat. Le Floridaroom sĂ©parĂ© comprend un mur de fenĂȘtres spectaculaire et des planchers de bois franc. La chambre principale au rez-de-chaussĂ©e est complĂšte avec baignoire de jardin et douche sĂ©parĂ©e. Au niveau du lac, dĂ©tendez-vous dans la deuxiĂšme salle familiale avec Ă©cran plat de 50 pouces et vĂ©randa grillagĂ©e ou sortez sur votre propre plage de sable privĂ©e et votre quai. The property was conveniently located near shopping and main streets. We stayed in December 2024. It was freezing outside and was warm in the house when we arrived that afternoon. At night, it turned almost as cold inside as it was outside. We contacted the owner and were informed about a set temperature that was not reached until it was time for us to leave the premises (just in time for the new renters). Since we traveled with elderly family members, they did not enjoy staying in this unheated house. It may be best suited for the summer months.

I absolutely loved this property. The view from the house/deck was amazing and everything was super clean. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils, cookware, you name it! Dirk was very communicative and check in/check out was a breeze. I would definitely stay again!

Good for multi-family

This property on the lake had a beautiful view. The large living area with open kitchen and dining room was super for our large, multi-generation family. The furnishings and beds were just average. Parking was easy. Although we had several issues requiring us to call the owner, he was extremely responsive.

We had the most wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was so clean and had everything that we needed. The lower level was great for our grandchildren with bedrooms, bathrooms, large area for watching tv and relaxing. The house was so close to all kinds of activities and our grandchildren took advantage of all

Great winter getaway

Great time at this beautiful lake house. Kids and adults had an awesome time spending hours ice skating and playing hockey on our own private rink on the lake. Would love to see it in the warm weather as well.

Amazing lake house!!

This house has the WOW factor from the time you drive up and enter the front door. Gorgeous views, Modern and extremely well kept. With the open concept, very good for entertaining. Very close to everything which is a hugh plus for our group that stayed. 100 percent recommend this property. The owners communication through out made it very enjoyable as well. Beautiful Lake House

The home is truly exceptional with impeccable outdoor landscaping and breathtaking views of Lake Naomi. The house is meticulous clean, featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a convenient barbecue area under the porch. The indoor and outdoor spaces with fire pit and a fishing dock provide such a relaxing “Poconos” vibe and feel. And yes, we reeled in quite a catch! Dirk was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to stay late on our last day. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home and Lake Naomi. We will be back!

Picturesque location, what a great stay

The house is well situated at Lake Naomi, and it's picturesque to have the unobstructed view of the lake right in front of you. Communication with the owner was fantastic. There are so many activities in the area so we didn’t mind having no access to the club membership. We utilized the outdoor fire pit (bring your own wood), bbq’ed in the Weber and hiked/biked all day in the area. The house was very clean, kids had fun in the lake level play area and the fall foliage is so beautiful to look at from the raised deck. Next year, we would love to spend some time at the Grand Slam House in the summer, it must be fantastic. I would highly recommend this home to other families looking for a relaxed week at the lake!

Great Off-Season Retreat

My family spent a week in April at the Grand Slam House and it did not disappoint. Communication with Dirk was super-fast and his website (grandslamhouse.com) provided us with some fantastic restaurant and activity recommendations. The house is super clean and large enough for our multi-generation family but still provides multiple cozy spaces. We hang out in the kitchen and living room (all the necessary supplies such as pots and pans are provided, so well equipped) and the kids stayed in the basement playing Foosball. We had beautiful weather, allowing us to spend time outside enjoying the beautiful view of the lake from the deck and backyard. We also went hiking, had a trip to the indoor pools at Kalahari (just a couple of minutes away) and went for bowling and escape room. At night we used the fire pit to make some smores and just watched the stars. We had such a wonderful time that we already booked a summer week directly with Dirk to come back to the Grand Slam House.

Decent place but has some flaws

Overall the place is very spacious with tons of privacy which which was nice but it’s very clear from the moment we got there that the cleaning crew does minimal cleaning at best there were cobwebs in the corners, crumbs on some of the carpets, when we started the jets in the tub in the main master bedroom black mold shot out of the jets!! Talk about disgusting and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There are dings and scratches on the walls and the hot tub wasn’t heating up and the husband to manually fix it the next day from his phone. There is also black spot all over the brick near the fireplace which could be cleaned, the fireplace smelled like gas really bad when it was first started and the tv in the main living area is awful it lags terribly and at best is probably a 70 TV..we even cleaned a few pieces of trash that were left behind the dresser in one bedroom, the cleaning company must not do a whole lot because you are expected to empty all the trash and take it to the can and you have to bring all your own linens and sheets and towels. So what do they do cause they clearly didn’t vaccuum every area. The house is nice but certainly needs some touch up paint, a better TV would be nice and it needs some updates. The host was kind and helpful but the cleaning company should be ashamed that’s for sure.

House is very spacious on a beautiful setting. Good location. Has good bones. Corresponding with host was easy and prompt. Furniture could use updating. Carpeting was soiled in spots. Stovetop was damaged - had to ask if it was safe to use. White plastic lounge chairs on deck are moldy including cushions. Shower curtain in basement bathroom was moldy and sink was not draining. Screened in patio on basement level was appealing on site - but we were unable to use it due to rain coming into it from the roof of it which was actually the floor of the upper deck which was not sealed or rainproofed - prevented us from using the screened in patio. Overall rate and fees were pretty high - we expected more for the $$$

Lakefront house but lake sold separately or not at all

Pros pretty, clean, lakefront home with responsive owner. Cons Lake Naomi community NOT renter friendly & listing NOT fully transparent about lake access. Read for details but if renting ANY Lake Naomi property & wish to use lake ask how many temporary lake memberships are left for home. Booked dec 2022 for aug 2023. Selling point for us was lakefront location & easy lake access for elderly & disabled family members. When we received agreement it mentioned Lake Naomi Club not included but temporary memberships could be bought later. Not disclosed then was that each home has only 4 temporary family passes per season. Moreover owner’s kayaks can not be used on lake without pass as lake is considered part of club. Day 1 neighbor ask a minor child if we had club passes which we had not yet purchased. Security arrives soon & tells us we have a problem. Resident reported us for not having pass & therefore we can’t use owner kayaks or fish in lake without membership (>$500). Officer was kind & felt bad but indicated this was now common & not often divulged when renting. I contact owner who quickly responded & this was when I learned there was a limit on lake passes & we could not actually use the lake on lakefront property. Owner did offer to make it up by having a local, chaperone us on lake for 1 day. Beware of Lake Naomi renting based on experience & recent eblast documents on Lake Naomi Club website (3May23 pg7/8); locals want to restrict renter lake access.

Phenomenal Experience

We had a small reunion and the group was absolutely thrilled with the property. It was exactly as represented on the website. Clean, spacious, spectacular lake views, great outdoor lakefront space, including kayaks and fire pit. The owner was very responsive and helpful. No issues at all. Likely to go back!

This was a great home for a weekend with friends. Everyone was comfortable and there was enough space for eight of us to gather to watch sports. The kitchen appliances were really great quality.

Great hosts, lovely home, amazing view!

A lovely stay at a fantastic home! I went with my adult siblings, partner, & senior family members. The layout of the house was perfect for us. The "kids" had the lower level & my folks & aunt stayed on the main floor. It worked out very well for everyone! The house was very clean when we got there. There were a few very minor issues (dishwasher wasn't run, grill wasn't cleaned/maintained properly, etc.) that we brought to the attention of the owner. He responded very quickly & assured us they wouldn't be our problem. None of these things affected our stay. The kitchen was spacious & the dining area fit all of us. It had everything we needed. Having three bathrooms on one level was convenient. The multiple access points to the outdoors made things convenient too. We loved the ample outdoor seating options (tall bar height chairs with cushions to go with a high top table, plastic recliners & Adirondack style chairs upstairs, along with an outdoor dining table set in the downstairs patio with more Adirondack style chairs). The firepit was a great size for our group as well. A few things to note-- the main level bathrooms had mediocre water pressure so be patient; there are multiple thermostats in the lower level so make sure to adjust those if you have people in those rooms; there is no Keurig/k-cup machine; the decorative candle holder hanging above the master bath tub is a bit low so watch your head; Jubilee is a little over a mile walk (very safe walk - it's all in the neighborhood)! The host was fantastic with communication, both before & during the trip. He really helped us feel comfortable in his home. I hope we can come back again!

My family lives in Delaware with easy access to the PA mountains and DE beaches. My two kids love skiing, biking and hanging out at the beach. We travel the world but always enjoy the local attractions. We are all looking forward to welcome you at our vacation homes.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have been looking for a property in the Poconos for the last 10 years and Lake Naomi is the premier location on the East coast. We love the lake, the activities throughout the summer and the skiing at Camelback and Jack Frost in the winter. This 3000+sqft lake house is unique, set right at the edge of the lake without trees blocking the beautiful view. Just a perfect place to relax and enjoy a break from busy life. There are activities year-around at Lake Naomi and we hope to make it our retirement residence in a couple of years.
