Summary:
Wake up and feel like you OWN the City with a fantastic city view right from your bed! Located Downtown, it's the perfect walkable spot to all the city has to offer! Take a stroll along the riverwalk, down to the waterfront & enjoy the numerous coffee & dining options as you soak in all that Providence has to offer! The apartment in this historic foundry building has everything you need for your visit. Walking distance to the train, RISD, Statehouse & College Hill. Easy Access to 95, 195 & 146.
The Space:
NO PARTIES
We wish to continue to host guests, so unfortunately, this space is NOT suitable for parties or hosting large events.
THE BUILDING
The apartment is a studio loft so there are no walls separating living space from sleeping space. The Riverfront Loft boosts beautiful high ceilings and original brick walls from when this building was an industrial foundry. It has lots of windows that let in natural daylight and looking out the front windows you have an amazing view of the City skyline including the State House. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no other apartment above it, you will need to go up 2 wide staircases to get to the apartment. The apartment is for up to 2 guests only. Despite the thorough renovations of all our apartments, the building itself remains an older structure and because of this and its proximity to the riverfront, it is considered unsuitable for young children. However, if your children are 6 years or older and you understand these considerations, we would be happy to accommodate your stay.
COOKING
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics and some extras for your stay. You can easily cook in the apartment or dine-out at the many fabulous restaurants within walking distance. There are 2 counter stools and also a high-top small dining table.
THE LAYOUT
The space has an oversized couch, which is perfect for lounging, a SmartTV that can be seen from various angles, and a dedicated workspace. Watch TV or enjoy the view of the Cityline from the king size bed! There is one large bathroom with a full-size shower. Also near the bathroom is a small closet, and the apartment has air conditioning and heat, as well as brand new windows.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment.
The main entrance to the building is a shared entrance.
The Neighborhood:
Conveniently located, a short walk to Downtown or College Hill. Great restaurants nearby and many places to explore within walking distance. The building sits close to the main road so you may hear an occasional bus going by during the day.
Getting Around:
If you like walking, this is the place to just park your car and explore the city! You can walk to much of the city, but Uber and Lyft are also available, and many scooter operators are also available in the city.
Other Things to Note:
We have one free dedicated off-street parking spot in our driveway.
The apartment building is located within walking distance to everything however it is on a semi busy road.
Interaction with Guests:
The building includes a shared stairwell and a downstairs laundry area accessible to all guests, but the apartments are exclusively for your private use.
