Bienvenue au magnifique lac Otter, cette cabane familiale bien entretenue sur l'eau pourrait être la vôtre cet été ou cet automne. (Nous sommes fermés maintenant pour la saison 2017 et nous réouvrirons le 1er mai 2018, mais nous pourrons toujours accepter les réservations pour la saison 2018 à tout moment)

Vous ne pouvez pas être plus près de l'eau que ça! Venez visiter serein Otter Lake et louer les quartiers d'habitation de ce hangar à bateaux avec balcon et barbecue. Concept ouvert, 4 couchages, joli intérieur en pin naturel, un lit queen et un canapé convertible. Propre lumineux avec l'exposition sud-ouest, le soleil toute la journée, et de beaux couchers de soleil. Nouvelle cuisinière, douche verticale, stationnement juste à votre porte, rampe de mise à l'eau libre à côté et amarrage sans frais inclus. Sentiers pédestres, pêche et lac très beau et tranquille. Marina à proximité avec des embarcations, location de ski et de tubes et un dépanneur. Seulement 10 km de la ville de Parry Sound et toutes les commodités et où vous pouvez monter l'île Queen et visiter les eaux de la baie Georgienne ou même louer un hydravion. Il y a deux nouveaux petits kayaks avec des pagaies et des gilets de sauvetage inclus dans la location. Agissez rapidement pour cette expérience de bateau-chalet ultime sur l'eau pour 2017. Sachez qu'il s'agit d'une cabine familiale réservée aux adultes de plus de 30 ans. Nous demandons également un dépôt de garantie de 300 $ sur une carte de crédit valide ( entièrement remboursable au départ) et la signature d'une dispense de responsabilité en matière de loisirs. Aussi, nous ne permettons pas les animaux de toute nature que nous avons des membres de la famille avec des problèmes d'allergie, désolé pas d'exceptions. Vous êtes également tenus d'apporter votre propre eau potable et draps et taies d'oreiller. Mais il y a des torchons et des débarbouillettes et tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Merci de nous avoir vérifié.

    Property was exactly like described. Very clean and plenty of space for the two of us. Enjoyed being right on the water and eating on the deck. I would recommend staying at this property.

    This is a lovely place, perfect for one or two people. Very well equipped. So lovely to be right on the water and hear the waves lapping beneath you. Couldn't wish for a better getaway.

    Amazing stay on the lake

    This was exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful and relaxing stay on the lake. The property owners were extremely responsive and helpful. The kayaks and paddle boats were definitely an asset. The lake is relatively calm and we were able to enjoy great weather during our stay. Home had everything you need including full kitchen. Would highly recommend this property and would love to revisit one day.

    Perfect cottage retreat for two

    Owen’s place is so clean and home-y, it feels like you are staying at a friends place. The location is very convenient, the boathouse is clean and kayaks are accessible and easy to use. My partner and I thought it was the perfect getaway for two and we had a fantastic time together. We cooked on the bbq, enjoyed the cable TV when it rained and overlooked a scenic unobstructed view of the lake. Super quiet at night, reasonable rate. We definitely want to return! Thank you so much.

    Tranquil area boathouse on a beautiful lake. Peaceful and completely relaxing with water activities on your doorstep-kayaking, swimming, paddleboat, fishing. Time to re-connect with your partner and nature. We loved it!

    Can't get closer to the water than this!

    I had a great stay at the Upper Boathouse. I didn't need anything more since I was there to get some quiet time alone. Paddleboarding in the mornings was my favorite time of the day! Water was so still, quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is provided for you. The bed could use a new mattress in my opinion but I had back surgery a few years ago so may not be an issue for anyone else. Will definitely look to go back again! Thank you Owen and Rob!

    Perfect relaxing getaway

    This is a great little property that is perfect for 2 adults looking for a relaxing getaway. We were there just after Canada Day and the boat traffic was mininal, neighbours are at a fair distance so you have privacy. The balcony is right over the water so you have a fantastic view. Even during a rainy day you can sit in the boathouse and just watch the rain fall on the water. The kitchen has all the basic utensils you would need along with some oils and simple spices but if you need something specific best to bring that along yourself. Everything was neat, clean and arranged nicely so it feels spacious. Owen was a great host and we definitely hope to visit again!

    perfect getaway for 2

    Owen’s boathouse is truly a hidden gem and a perfect getaway spot for a couple! I stayed here with my boyfriend this past weekend and had the most peaceful stay. Everything you need is avaible to you — a cozy bed, stunning lake view, cozy cottage furniture including dining table and couch, all cutlery, A/C, kitchen utensils, satiate TV, netfllix, functioning toilet & shower etc. We took the paddle boat and kayaks out all weekend and tanned in the middle of the lake. My favourite part of this whole trip was the enjoying breakfast and coffee out on the balcony with the stunning view. The property is CLEAN and well maintained. A must stay if you’re looking for a cozy & peaceful getaway for two. I cannot recommend Owen’s place enough☺️! I cannot wait to come back!!!!!

    Peaceful and tranquil getaway

    2 nights away from the city in the boathouse was exactly what I was looking for. Owen was clear and concise and the space has spectacular views. The bed was comfy and I really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony soaking up the sun. On arrival we saw a deer which felt really special. The weather wasn’t the greatest so we didn’t get to use the kayaks but that would be the best way to see the lake. Get out on the water and see the beauty; it is a quiet lake. Thanks again Owen. We loved it!

    Lovely getaway

    What a special place. Owens boathouse is a little gem and we were so pleased with the space. The boathouse is larger than I expected and has everything you could want/need. The views and the lake are incredible. The lake is beautiful to swim in. We arrived Sunday-mid week and it was quiet and peaceful. The boathouse is thoughtfully laid out and has everything you could need to cook & relax comfortably. Owen is a great host, he was very responsive and caring. Thank you, Owen!

    Quiet couple retreat

    This boat house was super cute and in a great location. Check in was easy and place had everything you need.. High winds made power go out but the property owner was right there to provide generator back up until it came back on. Parry Sound was 10 min away with great places to eat. I would definitely recommend staying here.

    Relaxing boathouse

    A wonderful stay! Very peaceful — a great little boathouse for a weekend away. Owen was really helpful, getting the paddle boat out for us to use and very responsive. Would recommend this place!

    We had an amazing time at Owen's cottage. The views from the cottage are absolutley beautiful. We brought up our boat. It was great to be able to dock the boat right at the cottage. The fishing was pretty good. The only thing we missed was a fire pit. We will most definitely be returning. Thanks Owen for a great stay!

    A Cozy Paradise on Otter Lake

    After turning off the highway and traveling for what seems to be forever down a dirt road, the scenery opens up to what can only be described as a cottage heaven. Situated right beside the boat launch into Otter Lake is this lovely two story building. Walking up the stairs to the space reveals a quaint, old style charm that can often be lost on newer styled cottages. It has plenty of space for two people to spend a relaxing weekend or more on the water. The owner provides you with kayaks and a paddle-boat to explore the lake, and the cottage itself is stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The view was beautiful both during the quiet days and the star-flecked nights and the neighbours are far enough away that you will not be disturbed. The cottage is only a short drive into Parry Sound. All in All I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone who wants to get away and relax!

    A summer week at the boathouse

    My partner and I stayed at the boathouse for a week in July. It is situated a 15 minute drive from Parry Sound next to a boat launch and in a small slightly more protected bay on Otter Lake with neighbours at a moderate distance on either side. Given that it is next to a boat launch and we were there at the height of summer, there is occasional boat and car traffic at the launch but it’s not disruptive. The property is a literal boathouse - the boat is stored underneath the apartment upstairs. The apartment is a simple one bedroom, as photographed. It was comfortable for the two of us. It’s basic, but entirely functional. The balcony is a highlight, we spent a lot of time out there and down on the small dock below. The balcony has a good BBQ we used frequently. Both the balcony and the dock are small but manageable. Another highlight was the kayaks and paddle boat! We used them several times a day and loved having access to them. Morning and evening kayaks around Otter Lake were lovely. Life jackets are provided but we brought our own. On the weekend the boat and jet ski traffic on the lake increased but that is to be expected. The property owners were accessible and friendly. I would recommend this place as a getaway for two!

    Perfect getaway!

    Perfect location on the long arm of Otter Lake. Loved the water views, starry nights and proximity to town. Excellent boathouse rental for 2 people! Cottage was well equipped and Owen was a great host!

    well equipped and very clean, lovely setting over the lake

    This was a perfect spot for 2 days We arrived to find the place exceptionally clean We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony over the lake- especially the peaceful early mornings when the lake is completely still We used the kayaks and the paddle boat for an hour or so each day- the lake was not too busy Its also not too far from Killbear proviincial park where we went hiking and also we hiked the Rose point trail which was also nice

    Cozy it is !!!

    This is a great spot for a nice getaway . Its a home away from home . The cottage provides all the things you will need . The kitchen fully equipped and than some . Satellite TV and a great view .
