Excellent view of diamond head and the zoo. We could easily see the ocean from our balcony if we leaned over the railing. We could hear loud vehicles as they drove by if they were playing very loud music, but didnât hear any music from the restaurant on the 2nd floor as the room is on the 5th floor. We had several meals sitting on the balcony and loved it. The AC was cool, room was clean, bed was very comfortable. There were a few beach towels, a microwave, burner, fridge, sink, tv with streaming services. Bathroom did have cloudy glass across from the shower, so you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom, but it wasnât an issue for us. You could put a towel over it for more privacy. We would happily stay again. Bus stop right outside and beach a block away. We loved it.
Water pressure consistently low. You stood ankle deep in a slow draining process. Sliding glass door to patio took a lot strength to open & close. Power went out in building for over 12hours starting at 4AM. It was 7PM when restored. Patio chair had to be replaced due to an old one ready for a law suit to happen. The replacement chair was an old kitchen chair. The hotel is way past its Glory Days. The one redeeming quality was the friendly staff. The venture capitalists who own the place could care less for their clients. They advertise 24/7 front desk service & even during business hours , you reach an answering service in Arizona , Florida, Maui, but never the person on duty at the front desk. Even on a good day, it was a coin toss if both elevators worked at the same time.one couple I know of was trapped between floors. Water / ice quality left a lot to be desired.
There was so much to dislike, I will stop here.
