Beautiful log cabin with AC and WiFi in gorgeous Burnsville.
Welcome to Boulder Ridge! This is the little cabin in the woods youâve always wanted. Boulder Ridge is a 700 sq ft. Lincoln-Log style log cabin located on 4 gorgeous acres in Burnsville, NC. Have a picnic on one of our many boulders on the property. Sit out back for time around the fire. The loft has a queen sized bed and a futon. Our bathroom has a gorgeous claw-foot tub. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out.
Great cabin in woods but easy drive to Burnsville . Nice outdoor fire pit with wood . Comfortable bed. Take it easy of steep gravel road going to cabin to avoid ruts and rocks (we did not need 4wd , but probably would if snowing). Saw flock of wild turkey nearby. Burnsville is a cute town with some nice outdoor bars with food and live music and a few restaurants, shops, crafts. Near hiking and other outdoor activities. Less expensive and less crowded than Asheville.
Dreamy little cabin. Carefully designed to meet all your needs in a small but very pleasant space. The drive up the road was a little daunting for a city person with a low slung car. Very considerate manager. Enjoyed both front and back porches.
Road to cabin is very rough and narrow 4 wheel drive in my opponent needed. Cabin is very nice inside but no TV in living room area ,small TV in loft area.Stairs to loft area are very narrow and dangerous for 70+ seniors. No blinds or curtains on any windows except bathroom. We saw a few black ants everyday .Water is muddy looking at start of shower but does clear up after a little time. Enjoyed seeing the turkeys and deer.
We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!
Cozy, rustic and comfortable cabin. Nice fireplace and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys roam around each morning. The shower was a bit tricky/slippery for a senior citizen like myself. The steep and treacherous dirt road to the cabin is better suited for a Land Rover than my Lincoln but over all we really enjoyed our stay..
We loved this little cabin! It was perfect for our little family get-a-way. We enjoyed the updated kitchen and bathroom. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We will certainly be revisiting this little cabin in the woods!
