Cozy cabin in amazing Three Rivers with WiFi, AC Sequoia NP entrance
4miles
Unique cabin in the wilderness of Sequoia NP situated in the Mineral King Areaâbeautiful surroundings with views of the Sierras and the Great Western Divide. The property is accessible year-round, without chains, and is pet-friendly.
This was a great cabin to stay in, so close to Sequoia! We had a great weekend crashing here, the cabin had good wifi, a lot of movies to choose from, and all the amenities we needed. Rene was a fantastic host, letting us back in late when we locked ourselves out accidentally.
We had a wonderful stay! The location is ten minutes up a windy road on the mountain, meaning there was no road noise and very little noise otherwise. Do be aware that there are dogs on the property. The cabin was a little dirty and full of bugs due to the hot weather, but after the first night we had killed most of the bugs, tidied up, and had a great time!
Itâs in a quiet area and the room is extremely cozy. The window view by the couch is my favorite part. Birds and other mountain animals are part of the ecosystem live here some surrounded by lots of trees. Close to three river NP entrance of Sequoia National park which is open at this season.
We had an unforgettable time.
Surrounded by nature . Peaceful quiet nights of good sleep into early morning to sounds of birds .
Thank you for a warm hospitality Ms.Rene
Loved the property, enjoyed the time we stayed there. Love the old and rustic vibe of the place. Suggestion, love the place, but a little more maintenance and cleanliness would be a charm to the place. Overall great place. There was no wifi during our trip which was a bummer since there is literally no network. So if wifi also doesnât work you are literally in the middle of the woods with no connection to outside world.
Would have been the perfect place to stay, but the pictures of the house did not represent what it looks like now. We did not have access to WiFi but wasnât informed it had been out for a couple of months till we got there. The yard needed to be mowed and trees trimmed more away from the house. The house needed a little more cleaning inside and cobwebs removed, especially from the shower. Itâs a super cute place, just needed a little more TLC.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The mountain view from the bedroom was breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the location couldnât have been more convenientâjust a short drive to the Sequoia National Park entrance. The check-in process was seamless, and Renee, our host, was fantastic with her quick and clear communication. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!
Had a wonderful stay in the cozy cabin. Loved the little touches the host provided. Overall four bc the shower needs better water pressure. It was peaceful and definitely in the woods. Very close to the Foothill Entrance of the NP.
Quiet and comfortable . I brought my own cooking top for camping because itâs a kitchenette only ⊠no cooking stove. It was fine đ
My dog loved to watch the birds on the window.
Star gazing at night in your own private backyard of the cabin was so relaxing.
Don't waste your money. We did and we had little to no water pressure to shower. We could not properly bathe. The amenities described were not there. No spa, no real kitchen, no washer, refrigerator set on high and still didn't keep cold Nowhere to unpack your clothing, poorly insulated with uneven AC cooling. Gates broken. Gave 2 star because cabin was cozy and there is a beautiful picture window, the king bed was comfortable. But, not enough to keep us in this poorly kept cabin. We were so dissappointed we cut our stay short. Reached out to host still no response after 3 days.
Mother Nature at Her finest, a sacred place of contemplation, gratitude, abundance and nurturing! Thank you Renee for the opportunity to share such sacred space! Namaste ALL!
This was just fine for what we needed. The place is quaint and just what you need if youâre spending the day up in the park. Host was very friendly. The kitchenette area doesnât have a sink or stove but we brought a cooler full of frozen food to warm up the first night. Very fun and charming place. Would do it again.
I'm from San Francisco and fell in love with this area at first sight and settled here after my husband died. I love animals and have made my home a sanctuary for rescued dogs, horses and a cat.
This property is actually within the boundaries of Sequoia National Park and is home to many animals and birds such as bears, coyotes, deer, eagles, ravens, hawks, snakes, lizards, bobcats, mountain lions, foxes, squirrels, and may be seen on any given day around here. The views are exceptional of the snow-capped mountains in the winter, the wildflowers in the spring, and even the fall colors of the trees are pretty decent, too. One thing you'll have to get used to is how quiet it is. I love it!
This property is only 4 miles from Sequoia National Park which is handy during the summer months when the park is very busy. We are also on Mineral King Road which is on the way to the Mineral King area of Sequoia NP. The cabin itself is very rustic, don't expect the Palais De Paris. (I've had it happen when a husband thought he would surprise his wife, a new mother, dressed in conservative designer duds, heels, and a disappointed face. It was the middle of summer, hot and dusty, and coyotes howled pretty close by. I truly felt for her. She was on the verge of tears, and her 6-week-old infant was screaming at the top of his little lungs. That's when I suggested to Dad that if he wanted to save his marriage he better say his prayers and fly her to Las Vegas far away from my cute little cabin in the middle of this wonderful wilderness.)
