The cottage is very private. It is a mix of rustic and chic. There is a 65" TV, Roku. The bed is a King Size Organic mattress and very comfortable. I keep this as non-toxic as possible. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction cooktop. It has a smart oven which includes: an oven, an air fryer, a rotisserie, a toaster, and a bake oven. There is an electric tea kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, an instant pot, and many utensils and glassware. The bathroom is compact with a shower, sink, and toilet. The dining table is a tabletop overlooking the Puget Sound. The deck is equipped with chairs and a Bistro table. There is acrylic glassware and plates for use on the deck.
An amazing view of Mount Rainer, and equally stunning are the sunrises and moonrises. Watching the sailboats, birds, and tides is relaxing and nourishing. You can rejuvenate yourself here surrounded by trees and water, and still be a few miles from downtown.

My husband and I loved staying here while visiting Olympia! The place was well designed and had everything we needed - the bed was really comfortable, very clean, we loved the view and private deck, and communication with the host was good. The bathroom is very small and narrow but worked ok for us. It was a quiet, romantic and sweet retreat! The location was great - loved the food co-op nearby and we were 10-15 minutes from downtown or the mall/Harrison street restaurants.

I had such a great stay at this property! The view of Mt. Rainier was great. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. I loved relaxing by the windows and looking at the scenery. It’s peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to get out and explore when I wanted.Victoria was a great host and communicated well. I would recommend her cottage if you need something centrally located to everything in Olympia.

Directions were good. Had all the amenities we needed. Coffee was provided which was a plus. Instructions and check out info was simple and easy to follow. There is a great view of Ranier, but unfortunately it was cloudy or raining most of the time. It was close and convenient to get to where we needed to go.

Cozy, relaxing retreat!

Although the place is small, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. When you arrive, take a moment to explore the cabinets—you'll be pleasantly surprised by all the thoughtful amenities provided. The view of the water and the surrounding greenery is beautiful, and enjoying your morning coffee on the back deck is a real treat. The space is clean and cozy, with a trail right next door and plenty of sights and activities in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

The building interior is beautiful and the location is excellent. It is, however, very inaccessible, particularly for anyone with mobility challenges, and the "bathroom" is roughly 30"x60." The owner informed me it was "a few yards" down a "garden path." It is actually nearly 25 yards down a very steep grade, only about half of which is done with stairs. Kitchen amenities are quite nice for the space, but the lack of real table with chairs (or even a couch higher than 15") makes eating challenging.

I’m sorry the path and bathroom weren’t what you expected. The cottage is reached by a short walk down the slope, which gives it its private, tucked-away feel. Photos and details are included in the listing, and most guests mention that the pictures and description reflect the space very accurately. Still, I understand everyone experiences spaces differently, especially with mobility in mind. The bathroom is compact but fully functional — shower, sink, and toilet — much like a European-style cottage. The dining area is centered around the bar table and stools overlooking the water, a spot many guests enjoy for the view, though it may not suit every preference. I appreciate your perspective and will continue to emphasize these details clearly. For guests seeking a cozy, thoughtfully decorated retreat with sweeping views of Puget Sound and Mt. Magical cabin with amazing views

This property is perfect for a couple or single person for a quick stay or longer get away. The master king bed is comfy with great linens and the entire cabin is very clean and peaceful; the cabin is nestled In nature with an awesome little deck with direct views of Mount Rainier, where you can enjoy the sunrise and moonrise. Right next to the cabin is a short nature trail down to a walk to a beautiful park On the sound. The cabin itself is well appointed And newly remodeled with everything you’ll need… we especially loved the location- a quiet and tree-filled sweet little neighborhood, overlooking Olympia harbor, and near everything you’ll want to do and see in Olympia. Our host Victoria has thought of everything and responds immediately to any questions. Thank you Victoria! We will be back!

The guest space was very clean and comfortable, the host was gracious and prompt in communication, the location was exactly where we needed to be. The cottage is described and photographed accurately in the posting. The bathroom is VERY small but had well placed shelves and hooks and worked just fine for us. Although not a full kitchen, the kitchen is extremely well outfitted with all you might need for making simple snacks and beverages or bringing in take out. The best part of the cottage is the deck--it has a beautiful view of the water and of Mt Ranier on clear weather days. The lovely weather we had made the deck a particularly sweet place to sit and share a drink with our son and daughter-in-love. We would happily return in the future for another relaxing stay.

I moved to the Pacific Northwest a few years ago, and never tire of seeing the towering evergreen trees, not to mention Mount Rainier shimmering in the distance. And I love being able to share this enchanting view with guests!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My house is at the top of a small hill and the rental is just below it with an unobstructed view of Olympias West Bay. A few yards from the door, a little path leads right down to West Bay Park, a great place for walking and watching seagulls and herons. You can also launch your kayak or paddleboard there. When weather permits, it is pleasant to sit on the deck and watch the tides, sailboats, animals, birds, weather changes, sunrise, moonrise, Mt. Rainer, and the night sky. There are unlimited opportunities nearby for hiking, kayaking, short walks, and day trips to other nature spots. Here you can reconnect to nature, within a few miles from downtown Olympia.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The cottage reminds me of a chic studio apartment in a city, 420 sq. ft. I added 220 sq. ft. to the original building. I applied the principles of feng shui to maximize a feeling of spaciousness. It is artistically pleasing. I put attention to the fixtures and furnishings to create variety visually and textural. It has the ambiance of a European or big city studio, yet you are in nature.
