Summary:
This rental comes with the HH Island Rentals Advantage. Four beach chairs, a beach cart, four beach towels and new kitchen amenities including salt, pepper, cooking spray and seasoning salt.

This villa is located in the desirable Shelter Cove area, this upscale, First floor 7401 Anchorage Villa, provides a relaxing atmosphere, yet is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and live entertainment.

The Space:
This villa offers upscale accommodations just steps from the Shelter Cove Marina. An open floor plan creates a great entertaining space for you and your guests with views over looking one of the many water features and fountains in the Anchorage complex. A short walk to the pool and spa which is open year round. Enjoy all the Shelter Cove has to offer just steps from your vacation
home.

This complex is part of the Palmetto Dunes Resort, and offers beach access by driving or biking to the ever popular Dunes House, and is next to the Shelter Cove Marina for a peaceful morning walk.

This was a lovely villa with amenities that met the needs of my family. The location was safe and convenient to the marina and other key places in HH Island. My husband and 2 teen kids enjoyed our one week stay on the island.

Great place and location

Great location in Shelter Cove, close to Marina, shops, grocery store and an amazing bakery. Easy access to the beach. Condo is well cared for, spacious and owner promptly responds. Especially in the summer the cooled pool is refreshing after a hot day.

Our second visit to 7401 Anchorage

This was our second visit to 7401 Anchorage. The accomodation is comfortable; perfect for a couple and 1 or 2 visitors. We enjoyed easy access to all the amenities surrounding the Shelter Cove marina. Our parking spot was covered and there is adequate parking for visitors.

Home away from home!

The accommodations were great, we had all the comforts of home, that really came in handy when the weather was crappy for a couple days and we had to stay in. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well supplied, and we really enjoyed using the electric grill that was on the patio. The location was perfect. We would definitely go back without any hesitation.

Guys golf trip

My buddy and I along with a large group of guys take an annual golf trip to HH. My buddy and I are particular about the condos we rent. We absolutely loved this condo! It’s big enough for two couples or larger families, even though just two of us, it was perfect and very clean and nice. I would highly recommend! Mike

Amazing condo

This condo was so comfortable and clean. I was amazed at the amenities- especially in the kitchen. I didn’t need to get extra trash bags, Saran Wrap, and there were so many spices already there. (I knew I would be cooking). The complex is well maintained, and it is very quiet and peaceful. Being in Shelter Cove made it even more convenient. Thank you so much for a great place!

Excellent location just a short walk from marina, shops and restaurants.

Overall, we gave this property an excellent rating due in no small part to the responsiveness of the property manager. The unit was very comfortable and can easily accommodate 2 couples. Two small appliances malfunctioned within a day or two of our arrival, and were replaced within hours of our notifying the property manager. It appeared that the cleaning staff skipped a couple of steps, and the property manager was so advised.

Great experience. Very nice furnishings and location. As we were there just coming out of the winter season, patio furniture had not been used in a while. We went out on the patio to enjoy some sunshine. As we removed the patio furniture covers it appeared there had been a dark-haired animal living under there. The furniture had an odor and does need cleaned. Otherwise everything was great

I Was Amazed

Very pleasantly surprised. Having had some not so wonderful experiences in vacation rentals, I was stunned to see exactly what was pictured. A couple of light bulbs that were burned out were replaced within half an hour. Even a guided drive to the pool. Thanks for being what you advertised

Hidden gem

This unit is thoughtfully furnished. The beds are comfortable and we both slept well. My husband has back problems and was fine. There is a comfy chair for reading and has good lighting both natural and a lamp. Everything felt reasonably clean and nothing was overly used or worn out. The washer dryer have both been updated to Samsung. The pic is not accurate. The owner has furnished spices in the kitchen like rosemary, pizza, ect from a spice round. There is a Keurig 12 cup drip & pod on the side coffee maker. As for steps, they are all easy. There are 3 steps up to the bedroom area as well as maybe 14 steps from parking to the unit. We walked to the marina which was really convenient. Might want to pack a flashlight. This is a north/south facing unit so no direct sun. We would most definitely rent at this quiet location again if we return to Hilton Head.

Condo was excellent but issues with maintenance being done to building

We loved the condo. No issues there but from the time we arrived and throughout our stay painting was being done to the outside of the building we were in. Windows were covered with plastic for most of the week and there was a cherry picker parked across from the covered parking area making it very difficult to get in or out. I would recommend the condo but I would check with the management company to make sure the painting job is not still going on. I will say that VRBO and the management company did address this and secured a partial refund for our inconvenience but I would have rather been told up front that this was going on and was given the option to be moved right in the beginning. I feel the owner should have told the management company what was going on rather than saying nothing until it was too late.

As we discussed during your visit, the painting schedule is beyond our control and the ability to move guests to another location in mid-July is difficult if not impossible. While we are always concerned about a guest's interruptions, sometimes they are beyond our control. When the maintenance schedules don't follow the schedule due to delays or weather, we unfortunately have to roll with the punches and make the best of the situation. Anchorage Bliss

This may be our favorite villa out of seven we have stayed at over the years in HHI. We always stay at Palmetto Dunes or Shelter Cove. We like Shelter Cove for its convenience of food, shopping and entertainment. Our villa was conveniently located just steps away from Ela's on the Water and the rest of Shelter Cove. The villa was the cleanest and best equipped of all the villas we have stayed at. We don't always use the pools but did this time and was super nice. I highly recommend!

Relaxing Setting

Very pleased with the property. Very quiet setting in a great location. Bathrooms were super nice. King bed super comfortable. Enjoyed the nice breeze on the side porch. Fortunate to have respectful upstairs neighbors. Rob was very responsive, accommodating, & helpful. We hated to leave & felt spoilt after checking out the Coligny beach area. Palmetto Dunes seemed less busy which was right up our alley. We look forward to coming back. So thankful & blessed to have stayed at this location.
